		<itunes:summary><![CDATA[<p>There are many things that I do not tolerate in this world. Two of them are bad coffee and bullshit.</p><br><p>Let's be honest; nursing as we know it now is slightly different from when old Flo was driving at the wheel. Throw in a pandemic and an underappreciated healthcare system, and you are left with the fallout of a nuclear bomb. Nursing has taken a very hard left turn. I want to discuss both the physical and emotional areas of nursing. The research behind how to cope with difficult situations that we face every day on the job and what to do when you find yourself rocking back and forth in a corner wondering why the fuck you started doing nursing in the first place. What is a nurse? Who are they to the patient? Why do we do the job, and why do we think it's acceptable to take abuse from both the consumer and the colleague? It can be endless. I want to challenge what is typically accepted as 'nursing' and kick that door wide open. Also, fuck being 'just a nurse' and all the manipulative emotional bullcrap that comes with it. I'd rather be broken and have the strength to stand up for what is right.</p><br><p>I am dyslexic as shit, so I need a place to deconstruct my thoughts instead of a diary.
