Sam is joined by former Newcastle United player, physio, and award winning author, Paul Ferris! Paul is set to release his third book - following the success of his beautifully written first two releases (The Boy on the Shed & The Magic in the Tin)

Once Upon a Toon is a recollection of light-hearted, uplifting Newcastle United anecdotes, and the characters that made the club what it is today. There are some poignant moments in the book as well, as Paul remembers the likes of Gary Speed, and his brother-in-law, Kieran who are both sadly no longer with us.

Sam & Paul recount some of these tales, as well as comparing stories about where they were for the League Cup Final win and subsequent trophy parade. Paul also shares some wonderful tales of working with the likes of Alan Shearer, Sir Bobby Robson, and Kevin Keegan.

Meet Colin Lock, a photographer for almost 14 years covering Newcastle United Women home and away. Jonny and Lee (who ably steps in for Sam this week) invited Colin in our studio in the city centre to discuss is love for photography and how he fell in to the role of taking photographs for the lasses, plus on this special video - Colin speaks of his relationship with NUFC Women players/staff and his thoughts on the squad now being backed by the owners.

Georgia is fresh off the back of a convincing win at a sold out O2 arena in London, on the Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall undercard, where our very own Sam Mulliner was in attendance!

Georgia is also a huge Newcastle United fan and like the rest of us, is buzzing at how things are going on Tyneside this season. She joins Jonny to talk toon and boxing. Make sure you follow her in ring career!

NUFC Women played their first ever match at St. James' Park, with the biggest domestic attendance this season as over 22,000 people crammed in to the stadium to cheer on Becky Langley's side. The Magpies defeated Alnwick Town 4-0 & fill finish 2nd in the league, narrowly missing out on the title & promotion - however today was about the bigger picture. This is Jonny & Sam's day from getting to the match, to post match interviews with striker Katie Barker, Captain Brooke Cochrane, and manager Becky Langley.
