For those of us who grew up reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in school, its words can feel as old as time itself – but what if we told you the Pledge in its current form is the same age as John Travolta? This week Meg walks Vika through the origins of the Christian Right, how white Evangelicals became the massive voting bloc they are today, and which Supreme Court case started it all (spoiler: it’s not Roe v.
