Good afternoon investigators! On todays episode Scoot takes us through the Smurl family haunting, a haunting that inspired The Conjuring: Last Rites movie. starting when the family moved into the home in 1973, the activity only ramped up through their 13 years in the home. Ed and Lorraine Warren were a part of the story of the Smurl family, and lead to a book called the haunted being written about all the paranormal events which took place. the family eventually moved, but the hauntings were said to have followed! but their story does die out after the move, and the next owners of the haunted home experienced no unexplained phenomena, so what do you think? haunted or hoax?

15- Seeking Justice for Ellen Greenberg

hello investigators, todays episode covers case of Ellen Greenberg, her fiancé returned home from the gym to find her with 20 stab wounds, however her death was ruled a suicide, but then it was ruled a homicide, but then ultimately ruled a suicide once more. Ellen lived in a sixth floor apartment with her fiancé and there was no signs of an intruder, other then notably the door being busted down as the fiancé gained access to the apartment after he was locked out with a swing arm latch that could only be open from the inside. the snow on the patio was undisturbed, the family of Ellen still fights for answers for their daughter as they, and many experts believe it is not a suicide. you can support them here:
