On his journey to heart transplant, he was close to death again and entered the Ethereal a second time. He found himself inside a shapeless, formless vacuum of unending and infinite vastness. He was everywhere at once, scattered across a timeless expanse and connected to the wisdom of the universe—all of it without words.

He saw and simultaneously became part of a gigantic interactive web of twinkling lights covering the Earth and stretching into infinity. For as long as he could remember, (John) Allen Coefield had certain memories of things that had no explanation. However it wasn’t until many years later that the full experience came together. Edgar Cayce had a likely Near-Death Experience sometime around 1883/1885 after drowning in a pond whilst fishing.

Raymond O’Brien was born into a family of seers. As an adult, his mother foretold of dire consequences if he didn’t ‘change’ his drug and alcohol-fuelled lifestyle.

Soon after, a ‘voice’ warned him that he was going to die. What followed was a night of terror and revelation when he found himself rushed to hospital unable to breathe, going into cardiac arrest. Deciding to let himself go, Raymond passed over to the ‘other side’ where he became ‘one with everything’ and encountered spiritual beings.

Raymond has gone on to become a counsellor to NDE survivors, is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and is the Uk’s first NDE trauma psychotherapist.

At the height of his career in US television, Peter Anthony became seriously ill as the result of a medical misdiagnosis. At a time when AIDS paranoia was at its peak, he had to disguise the symptoms of his condition to protect his career.

One night at his birthday celebration, he found himself bleeding and in intense pain. Having taken himself to the ER, he was finally wheeled into surgery after being left to wait for over an hour. It was there that he had his Near Death Experience, an event that would leave him with some incredible abilities.

As host of IANDS NDE Radio, Lee Witting not only has a wealth of eye-opening NDE research but is a Near Death Experiencer himself.

Lee had his NDE when he drowned as a 7-year-old, and despite its significance, it was an event he would not talk about for quite some time.

Dr Eben Alexander, a highly-skilled neurosurgeon had a life-changing Near Death Experience when his brain was attacked by a rare illness.

David Bennett had a profound near death experience when he drowned after being flung off a vessel at sea during a storm. He was missing for quite some time, before being swept back up onto the vessel, a changed man. After experiencing a detailed life review, he now knew things about his future, and that things would not always be straight forward in the years to come.

He has since had other extraordinary experiences, including one at a time when he was diagnosed with Stage iV Lung Cancer.

David Ditchfield is a near-death experience (NDE)-inspired artist, composer, and author. In 2006, he was dragged under a speeding train in a freak accident. As the surgeons fought to save him, he had a profound NDE. When he woke up in hospital, he had acquired astonishing new abilities. He found he could paint dramatic paintings of what he had seen in the Afterlife, far beyond any artistic ability he had before. He then discovered he could compose classical music, despite having never received any classical training. To this day, he still cannot read or write a single note of musical notation, and yet his debut NDE-inspired symphony, The Divine Light, was premiered at a sell-out orchestral concert to a standing ovation. Ep#32 Paul Northridge

Paul Northridge had a Near Death Experience following a lethal reaction to a muscle relaxant whilst on the operating table at the age of 15. He remembers looking down on the medical staff as they tried to resuscitate him, before being met by 3 balls of light. He then experienced a life review, which has stayed with him ever since.

Ep# 30 Artisha Bolding

Artisha Bolding had a Near Death Experience in 2018 when she suffered a major health crisis and misdiagnosis. Her experience took her outside of her body, where she met with beings before waking up back in the hospital. It was 1991, and after years of holding in the effects of traumatic childhood experiences, Angie Fenimore felt like she could not do life anymore. In September of 2012 Chris Batts jumped out of a moving car in an attempt to end his life. He was surprised to find himself outside of himself, looking down on his body as paramedics worked on him. He met with a man he calls ‘God’, as well as meeting his guardian angels, with whom he was given the choice as to whether to return to his body or not.

In 1988 Lesley Lupo was crushed by a stampede of horses whilst she worked on the ranch which was home to 130 horses. She remembers ‘popping’ out of her body, and watching as her body was dragged along the ground. Her colleagues performed CPR, which failed to revive her, and she lay motionless for up to 14 minutes. During this time, Lesley had an incredible near death experience before coming back to her body. Today, Lesley is a gifted healer, an NLP specialist, and author of the book ‘Remember, Every Breath is Precious: Dying Taught Me How to Live’.

Ep#19 Paula Lenz

In 1983, Paula Lenz began to have a reoccurring dream. One which she soon realised was a precognitive warning. Then the sudden shocking loss of her brother Don, came close to completely destroying Paula. She did not know that his death would result in strange occurrences, and outreach from him for the rest of her life. Three days after Don’s funeral, Paula had an incredible out-of-body experience with her brother’s spirit while she was driving. The result was a visit to “Infinity” and a change in her consciousness and an understanding of Oneness.

Paula has since written a book about her experience called ‘Driving into Infinity’ where she shares her experience, and also recounts stories about her brother from her family as well as from Don’s closest friends. She hopes her story will provide comfort to those who have experienced the loss of someone they love deeply.

Today I am joined by Howard Storm, Near Death Experiencer. Howard had his experienced 1985, whilst dying in a hospital bed in Paris. His journey is a very profound one that has shaped his views on life and spirituality ever since. Ep#17 Jeff Olsen

In 1997 Jeff Olsen and his family had a horrific automobile accident. An accident took the lives of his wife and youngest son, also inflicting multiple life-threatening injuries to Jeff, including the amputation of his left leg. Jeff has an exceptional story of resilience and recovery, and also of spiritual encounters he had over this time. Following the accident, Jeff had a Near Death Experience (NDE), an Out of Body Experience (OBE), and one of the Emergency room doctors had a Shared Death Experience (SDE) with Jeff’s wife just after the accident took her life.

Jeff found the courage to survive over 18 surgeries, and to eventually heal both physically and emotionally, and to thrive in his career and community contributions. Among all of Jeff’s accomplishments, he is most proud of and most fulfilled by simply being a husband, father and friend.

Ep#16 Dr. Jeff O'Driscoll

Dr. Jeff O’Driscoll, was an emergency physician who, from time to time, received messages that helped him care for patients. Occasionally they led me to a diagnosis he hadn’t considered. Some people, however, were simply too ill or too injured to survive. And, when a patient died, sometimes he saw their spirit—their eternal essence—leave their body. It was in the ED that Dr. O’Driscoll witnessed an incredible event. He saw the wife of a man who had just experienced a horrific car accident. Both had been travelling together along with their two children. The wife died in the accident, whilst her husband, Jeff Olsen, experienced a profound NDE. The connection following this event have been life changing for both Jeff’s, and they have been close friends ever since.

Today I chat with Dr. O’Driscoll, not only about this profound experience, but other experiences he has had, and his incredible time in the medical profession.

Retired Chief Petty Officer Tony Woody came within a hairs bredth of death when the plane he was in crash landed onto the side of the runway. He recalls the event first hand, whilst also observing it from outside of the plane, separate to his body. But this was only the beginning, with the second part of his NDLE taking place just two days later when he encountered a being of light in the night.

Tessa Shahid - Restarting Life

Tessa Shahid (Williams at the time of recording) has experienced trauma after trauma. From her Father having a major stroke when she was only 11 years old, through to her Mother having a different major illness when she was 18, Tessa learned what it was like to simply survive. Nursing both of her parents, becoming the main income earner and trying to get an education all at once proved to be too much. The three of them ended up living in a car, and struggling to get by. Tessa experienced sexual abuse, a miscarriage and many dark days which led into weeks, which led into years, and only just recently has Tessa learned how to restart life.

Today her approach is simple - to be grateful, courageous, and optimistic.

Ten days after Sharna O’Sullivan gave birth to her third child, she experienced a very sudden and heavy episode of postpartum haemorrhaging. She was rushed to the nearby hospital, then transferred to a larger hospital 60km away. And somewhere along the way, Sharna died. Sharna went on a journey to an incredible place, experienced a life review and was given insight into her future. In this episode Sharna shares both her experience, and also the profound effect this experience has had on the way she views fear and self-worth.

Her purpose is now clear. Self-worth. To remember our worthiness.

Ep# 11 Ian McCormack

In 1982 Ian McCormack was diving off the island of Mauritius when he was stung by five Box Jellyfish. Within a very short time, his body was reacting to the venom, and he died. Local divers tried to help him, but there was little they could do. At the same time, his Mother was aware that something was happening, and began to pray to a God that Ian didn’t yet believe in. When Kathy De La Torre was 20 years old, she married her High School sweetheart. She loved him dearly and held a lot of respect for him. However shortly after the honeymoon period was over, things started to change. Very quickly, Kathy realised that she was being controlled and that her new husband was not the man she had thought him to be. In the thick of abuse and suicidal thoughts, Kathy learned how to upgrade her circumstances to design herself a much more positive future. Today she talks how traumatic memories do not need to have power over us. And how we CAN take charge over them.

Ep#10 Pegi Robinson

Pegi Robinson drowned at age 5, then went on to die from an ectopic pregnancy at the age of 25. It was the biggest tubal pregnancy that the hospital had ever seen, and without that night in hospital Pegi would have most likely died...for good! Both times she experienced seeing a 'panel' of people, and she returned from her experiences with a with some new found abilities, including knowing when people are dying or needing assistance to stay alive. Today, Pegi is the Group Leader for Mid-Ohio Valley IANDS and is also the Author of her memoir The Will of a Wildflower.
