It would be safe to assume that in 2024, online fitness is more about marketing than actual fitness. The market is very saturated, so trainers need to come up with an angle, controversial opinion in air quotes, or reason why everything else is wrong, that makes you sign up to their program, as opposed to someone else’s which will help you achieve the same goal.

What I find very interesting about Jack’s program and philosophy to fitness is he adopts the approach of less is more – to the extreme of only requiring 40 minutes of exercise – per week – to build muscle on your whole body. Is there any credibility to this or is it just another angle to sell a program?

Artificial intelligence is one of those things that comes across as scary; it’s gonna take our jobs, turn into robots and kill us etc. but it’s also a big unknown for a lot of people – beyond Chat GPT, how would we even go about using AI to make our everyday lives better?

As someone who’s been immersed in AI for quite a while now, it’s interesting talking to Henry as he’s seen how it’s developed, how it’s being used and has an interesting take on how AI will look in the world going forward.

Lifesaurus is a play on the concept of a thesaurus, which is a collection of synonyms – different ways of saying a word which has the same meaning. I look at a lifesaurus as a collection of lifeonyms – unique approaches to life formed by experiences and attitudes, which can be used to confront the same thing we all experience; life.

I really do love the thought that an insight, a simple quote, or a new way of looking at things can change the direction of your life. It’s happened to me on multiple occasions.
