বাবা তুমি রোজ এতো দেরি করে বাড়ি ফের কেন?

মা, তোর বাবা যে কলের শ্রমিক,

তাঁর শুধু শ্রমেই অধিকার সময়ের নেই কোনো দাম !

কেন তুমি একেক দিন এক এক সময় ফের,

কখনো সন্ধ্যে , কখনো বা রাত দুপুরে,

কি পাও তুমি ওভারটাইম ?

পাও কি তুমি বোনাস ?

প্রতি বছর বলো এবার তোকে ঠিক নতুন স্কুল ব্যাগ কিনে দেব?

কিনে দেব নতুন রং পেন্সিল, বই আর খেলনা?

কিন্তু সেই বছর আর দিনটা তো আসে না, বাবা?

করুন মুখে বলি গত তিন বছর করোনা খেয়ে নিয়েছে সব,

অনেক দেনা হয়ে গেছে যে, মাইনেও গেছে কমে, কি করি মা,বল?

তবে যে সেদিন তোমার কলের মালিক এলেন নতুন গাড়ি চড়ে ?

লোকে বললো তিন কোটি দাম তার,

পকেটের কলম , হাতের ঘড়ি সেও কয়েক লাখ !

তবে তোমাদের ৫০লাখের বাকি ওভারটাইম দিলোনা কেনে?

করোনার সময় তো তো,তোমাদের কোম্পানি কর ছাড় পেলো,

পেলো কম সুদে ঋণ, পেলো প্রোডাকশন ইনসেনটিভ?

তোমরা কি পেলে বাবা ? কি পেলো মা, কি পেলো বুড়ো ঠাকুমা,

কি পেলাম আমরা বাবা ?

আমার ছেলেবেলা কেটে যাচ্ছে তোমাকে ছাড়া,

ভাইটাও এখন হাঁটে শিখে যাচ্ছে,

তাঁর ভবিষ্যৎ ও কি ওই হাঁড় ভাঙা রক্ত ওঠা শ্রম?

যদি সেই শ্রমের মূল্য হয় শোষণ আর হতাশা,

তবে কবে পাবে সে অধিকার নিজের জীবনের সময় ফিরে পেতে?

মে দিবস কি তবে শুধুই ছুটির দিন?

না, সে স্বাধিকার আর অধিকারের, অধিকার বুঝে নেবার দিন?

শুধু কিছু লাল পতাকার মেলা নয়,

বাবা আবার গর্জে উঠুক মানুষ,

অধিকারের দাবিতে জমে উঠুক সম্মানের পরিশ্রমের মিছিল।

মে দিবস অমর রহে নয়,

মে দিবস অমর ছিল, আছে , থাকবে।

শুধু দরকার আবার একটু সচেতন সমাজ ,

জেগে উঠে, বলুক শ্রমিকের ঘামের মূল্যে গড়ে ওঠে এ সমাজ।

কি বলবো বাবা মে দিবস লাল সেলাম?

শুধু কি লাল না, মানুষের মে দিবস তোমায় অন্তরের প্রণাম।

এই লেখা যারা পড়বেন তাদের কাছে ক্ষমা চেয়ে নিচ্ছি প্রথমেই, মানুষ না হলে , ভারতীয় না হলে,সৎ না হয়ে সততার প্রতীক হলে, এ লেখা পড়বেন না। যদি কোনো রঙের দাস হন, বা ধান্দাবাজ নেতার চামচা, তাহলেও পড়বেন না। চামড়া জ্বলে গেলে আমাকে দায়ী করবেন না। তখন খাদ্য আন্দোলন , নকশাল আন্দোলন , হরতাল এই নিয়ে উত্তাল দিন। বাংলাদেশ যুদ্ধ , ইমার্জেন্সি আর গরিবি হাটাও স্লোগানের দিন। শুধু ২৩শে জানুয়ারী মরা জাতি জেগে উঠে বলতো "চল দিল্লী"। কে শুনতো সে কথা কে জানে, তবে, ভালো লোক কম শুনতো , মিথ্যাচারী প্রবঞ্চক স্বার্থানেষীরা দল বেঁধে দিল্লি চলে গেলো। এই বাংলা থেকেই কয়েক ডজন প্রতি পাঁচ বছরে একবার করে । আগামী কাল ২৩শে জানুয়ারী সব ধান্দাবাজদের দেশভক্তর ভেক ধরার দিন। নিজের নিজের টিআরপি বাড়িয়ে নেবার দিন । তিনি বলেছিলেন "আগামী দিন এক বাঘের বাচ্চার জন্মদিন আর তা পালনের জন্য বহু শুয়োরের বাচ্চাদের নাচন কোদনের অন্ত নেই। শুয়োরের বাচ্চারা এটাও বোঝে না, বাঘের মূর্তির গলায় মালা পরাতে গেলেও যোগ্যতা লাগে। নির্লজ্জ্ব জনতা আর তাদের জারজ প্রভুদের উৎসবে পরিণত হয়েছে, স্বাধীন ভারতের মুক্তি সূর্য্যের আবির্ভাব দিন । একজন ভারতীয়র সাহস নেই বুক ঠুকে বলে, ওরে শুয়োরের বাচ্চা, নেতাজির গলায় তোরা নয়, মালা দিলে দিতে পারে সেই জওয়ান যে দেশের জন্য বর্ডারে, সিয়াছিনে বা রান অফ কচ্ছ এ দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। একটা জালি নেতাও নেতাজির মূর্তিতে মালা দিলে, সেই নেতাকে জুতোর মালা পরিয়ে প্রতিসম্মান জানান হোক, কোনো নোংরা নেতার হাত যেন, এবার থেকে নেতাজি কে স্পর্শ না করে। ব্রিটিশ ও বিদেশী এজেন্টদের সরকার না সরলে, এই স্বাধীনতার সুফল দেশবাসি পাবেন না। ব্রিটিশের থেকেও ক্ষতিকর শক্তি দেশে বংশ বিস্তার করবে। এবং, দেশের সার্বভৌমত্ব বিপন্ন হবে। স্কুল গুলিতে নেতাজি, বিবেকানন্দ, ও ঈশ্বরচন্দ্রের জীবনী বিশদে পড়ানো হোক। প্রকৃত জ্ঞানী ও মরমী মানুষদেরকে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ করা হোক। নাহলে দেশ নৈতিক ওলাওঠায় মারা যাবে।" জানুয়ারি ১৯৪৮ এ কথা বলেছিলেন প্রয়াত আজাদ হিন্দ বাহিনীর ও নেতাজির অন্যতম ছায়াসঙ্গী সহযোগী ও মান্দালয় জেলে একসাথে থাকা বিপ্লবী ক্ষিতীশ চন্দ্র মুন্সী, তাঁর বড় মেয়ে আগরপাড়ার ব্যোমকেশ চক্রবর্তীর স্ত্রীকে। read at www.ibgnews.com link

Softly doth I tread

Upon those laid in rest:

Fathers...brothers...sons...

All from different lands,

Yet mixed in a common sight--

'Neath the living life,

'Neath the bright blue sky.

As I have remained drunk

In the maddening joy of breath

Somehow the names on stone

Have brought the thought in mind:

"They have felt the pain of death

As we all will feel someday,

Will History write their names?"

They lie in a common sight,

'Neath the living life,

'Neath the bright blue sky.

We all come to the world

some do not die in vain.

Yet, those who die in war,

They all die for their motherland

Or for another, for whom they all

Loyally drop down dead;

Their loved ones could not kiss their hand

They could not save their soul.

Time passes, but the tragedy does not

Pass, that they all sleep:

ছুঁয়ে আছি সেই মাটি।

শেষ শ্বাস নিয়ে শায়িত যেখানে

চিরঘুমে পরিপাটি-

কারও পিতা, কারও সন্তান, ভ্রাতা

একে অপরের পিছে।

ভিন ভিন দেশ, ভিন জাতি, তবু

একই নীলাকাশ নিচে।

যেখানে আমার বিলাসী স্বপ্ন

বাঁধ ভাঙা উচ্ছ্বাসে-

অকুলিবিকুলি সুখে বেঁচে থাকে

তাজা তেজ-নিশ্বাসে।

সেখানে তাঁদের যন্ত্রণাগুলো

চলে যাওয়া রেখে বাজি।

ইতিহাস হওয়া হবে না যে, জেনে-

তবু মরে যেতে রাজি!

এভাবেই চলে প্রবাহের মতো

আত্মাহুতির পালা।

নিজেকে বিলায় আগুনের তেজে

বিদ্রোহী পাঠশালা।

আমাদের ভীরু মনন, চেতনা

চেয়ে চেয়ে দেখে হায়!

তাঁরা শুয়ে আছে দেশ মাটি ছাড়া

নীলাকাশ সীমানায়!

আমরা কত যে যাই আর আসি

এই পৃথিবীর নীড়ে।

উদাসী বিলাসী যাপন ব্যাসনে

স্মৃতিমায়া মোহে ঘিরে।

না ভেবে, কে দিলো নিজেকে আহুতি

মা মাটির অপমানে।

তার শেষ চুমে বঞ্চিত হয়ে

যাকে প্রিয় বলে জানে।

ভাবি না তো হায়, ভাবনা আসে না

তবু দিন চলে যায়।

তবু দেশ প্রেমী অনায়াসে মরে

চাঁদ ভাঙা জ্যোৎস্নায়।

ঘর থেকে দূরে বিদেশ বিভূঁইয়ে

খোলা মাটি ঘরবাড়ি।

নীলাকাশ তলে মৃতদেহ হয়ে

যাঁরা শুয়ে সারি সারি...
