For jockey Jye McNeil it was his first ride in a Melbourne Cup and he has now etched his name into history forever with his magnificent ride on Twilight Payment who led the race from start to finish. The Cup will head to Ireland where trainer Joseph O’Brien has claimed his 2nd Melbourne Cup, holding out his father Aiden’s horse Tiger Moth with Prince of Arran rounding out the top 3.
