The Hurricane

Ingredients:

• 2 ounces light rum
• 2 ounces dark rum
• 1 ounce lime juice
• 1 ounce orange juice
• 1/2 ounce passion fruit puree
• 1/2 ounce simple syrup 
• 1 teaspoon grenadine 

Steps:

• Add the light and dark rums, lime and orange juices, passion fruit puree, simple syrup, and grenadine into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
• Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
• Garnish: lemon half-wheel
• Garnish: lime half-wheel

The Appletini

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces sour green apple schnapps
• 1 1/2 ounces gin
• ice
• green apple slices
• lemon juice

Steps:

• Add the green apple schnapps, gin, and fill the shaker halfway up with ice. Cap the shaker and shake briskly.
• Pour the strained cocktail into a martini glass.
• Garnish with green apple slices that have been brushed with lemon juice.

To honor Mr. King, we served up tall frosty glasses of his fictional cider/beer hybrid from the 'Dark Tower' book series called Graf. For our version of Graf we mixed together hard apple cider and spiced winter lager. You can mix your own with any hard cider and beer you want.

The Sidecar

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces cognac
• 3/4 ounce orange liqueur
• 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
• Garnish: lemon sugar on the rim and an orange twist

Steps:

• Coat the rim of a coupe glass with lemon sugar (lemon zest mixed with sugar).
• Add cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
• Strain into the rimmed coupe glass.
• Garnish with an orange twist.

• Add cider and stir
• Garnish with a mint sprig

Nothing says holidays like a murderous Santa, horny parents, and a Thanksgiving food fight!

Our mixologist Tracey has stirred up two special holiday cocktails, because one might not be enough to survive the holiday season…

Vodka Cranberry Twist:

1. In tumbler or highball glass rimmed with lime sugar...
2. 2 oz. Vodka (we used Chopin single-ingredient potato vodka, use what you like)
3. 4 oz. Cranberry juice
4. Splash of ginger ale
5. Add ice, garnish with cranberry and a lime wedge, stir, and enjoy

Peppermint Irish Whiskey:

1. In a tumbler glass...
2. 2 oz. Irish whiskey (we used Slane triple-casked blend for the vanilla notes, use what you like)
3. ¾ oz. Peppermint schnapps
4. Add ice, garnish with crushed candy cane pieces in the glass and a whole candy cane on the rim, stir, and enjoy

Anthony has paired these frights with a classic Smokey Old Fashioned. The only fog you run towards…

Ingredients:

• 2 jiggers (3 oz) Benchmark bourbon (substitute with your favorite brand)
• 1/2 jigger (3/4 oz) maple simple syrup
• 2 dashes of Fee Brothers Old Fashion Aromatic Bitters
• 2 dashes of Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
• Garnish: fresh orange peel twist, one dark maraschino cherry (Luxardo or Rex brands recommended), and a good amount of smoke (we smoked with a combination of apple wood, cherry wood, whole cloves, and cinnamon stick)

Steps:

1. Add large ice cube to tumbler glass
2. Dash bitters over large Ice cube
3. Pour simple syrup and bourbon into glass and stir
4. Twist orange peel over glass and run the orange peel around the rim of the glass
5. Add orange peel and maraschino cherry to glass
6. Smoke the hell out of it using a cocktail smoker kit and serve
