Captain Sandra Yawn is a world renowned captain in the yachting industry with over 30 years of experience. Yawn’s love for the ocean propelled her to achieve the highest status as a mega yacht captain in a male dominated industry. About Frank Somerville

Frank Somerville is a five-time Emmy award winning former main anchor for KTVU in the Bay Area. During the course of his career he witnessed two executions at San Quentin Prison, watched an autopsy, flew with the Blue Angels, and was embedded with the Alameda County Sheriff’s SWAT Team during a 48-hour non-stop competition, the first and only time they allowed a reporter to cover Urban Shield from the inside.

However, later in his career he suffered from severe mental health issues due to the stories he covered and witnessed firsthand. He was afraid to admit that he was suffering and made the horrible choice to drink to ease the pain. Since he stopped on June 6, 2023, his life has taken a dramatic turn for the better.

Frank grew up in Berkeley, where he was always taught to question authority and to not be afraid to go left even if everyone else is going right. He has two beautiful daughters one of whom happens to be adopted and black and as a result, sees the world completely different now. He’s in the gym 6 times a week now, plays hockey, has trained in Krav Maga, and proud of the fact that he hasn’t eaten meat, fish, or poultry since the age of 12 as he doesn’t believe in killing animals. He loves the Sharks, the 49ers, the Cal Bears and Formula 1 racing.

About Joe Peebles

Joe Peebles, founder of JP Aero, began his career in aircraft maintenance serving in the U.S. Army. Joe was initially trained as an Apache, AH-64, mechanic and transitioned to Chinook, CH-47, helicopters. He is a decorated combat veteran, serving in Afghanistan as a Chinook crew member and door gunner. Joe received the Combat Action Badge, Air Medal, and Operation Enduring Freedom Medal, among other accolades while in service.

After his service, Joe returned to Afghanistan as a contractor providing aviation maintenance support for U.S. and Nato military forces. Since then, he has held notable positions with companies. In 2019 he founded an Aircraft Maintenance Support business (JP Aero).

Joe has received the honor of being recognized as one of NBAA’s Top 40 Under 40.His life goals include helping veterans reacclimate into civilian life after service, as well as helping troubled youth find new purpose and direction. He hopes to inspire people to chase their dreams.  Joe attributes his success and goals in life to his being a husband and father. His life experience being a veteran, husband and father is what pushes him to move forward, leading by example.

Justin Castagna has more than 12 years of airport and aviation development and management experience at various commercial and general aviation airports throughout California and beyond. Starting as a line service technician for Signature Flight Support, he then worked as an Airport Operations Officer at four different airports before landing at Aeroplex.

Justin is the Director of Operations and Project Management for Aeroplex Group Partners and has been responsible for managing capital projects ranging from small tenant improvement projects, to large underground water pipe ruptures, the buildout of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility, maintenance and ground service facilities, taxiway throat entrances consistent with FAA advisory circular requirements, and the full-scale development of more than 20 acres of multi-million dollar commercial hangar, office, and aircraft apron facilities.

A private pilot himself, Justin builds cooperative working relationships by interfacing with tenants, governmental agencies, airport and city officials, contractors, vendors, and community stakeholders. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and currently serves on the Board of the Association of California Airports (ACA). About Denny Duron

Denny Duron is a pastor, coach, entrepreneur, inventor, educator, author, composer, producer, communicator, motivator and student of God’s Word. His burning desire is to awaken destiny one heart at a time. Denny is the senior pastor of Shreveport Community Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is married to DeAnza and they have seven children and 15 grandchildren and another on the way! Pastor Denny’s ministry actually began on the football field as a player at LA Tech University. As a quarterback in the seasons of 1972 and 1973, Denny led the Bulldogs to two national championships and a 24-1 record. He was twice named all Southland Conference first team quarterback and in 1973 was chosen as the Southland Conference Most Valuable Offensive Player. In 2017 he was inducted into the Louisiana Tech Football Hall of Fame.

In addition to his honorable mention All American recognition his senior season, he was drafted in the second round by the Birmingham Americans of the new “World Football League.” Denny played two years at Birmingham and then signed with the Washington Redskins in 1976. It was there in training camp that he first heard the call of God to take his life in a different direction. The Washington Star carried the headline the next day “Even Redskins no match for the call of God.”

Denny also began the Evangel Christian Academy football program at Shreveport, Louisiana that has achieved national prominence. He served as head coach for 6 years and offensive coordinator for 14. During that time “Coach Duron” coached numerous all Americans, while at the same time virtually re-writing the national offensive record books for yardage, touchdowns and points scored. Evangel Christian Academy was named by USA Today as one of the top 8 High School springboards to the NFL. Coach, Pastor Denny now serves as Chancellor of Evangel Christian Academy and head coach of the ECA Eagles along with his pastoral duties. The outreaches of Shreveport Community Church are expansive and include The Educational Center for Autism, Winner’s Circle, a camp for inner-city children; and Eaglecreek Recovery Center, a live-in facility ministering to men with addictions.

A true servant leader, Michelle is passionate about developing others to their highest potential. She believes that team engagement is the real measure of leadership success, and her results are evidence of the power of her serve-first philosophy.

Michelle is a member of the Finseca board of directors and served on the GAMA International board of directors and the GAMA Foundation board of trustees. She is an IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt™ and a certified trainer for the John Maxwell Team. She is the author of Freedom in a Framework: Moving Out of Chaos and Into Purpose. Michelle resides in Manhattan, Kansas, with her husband Tim. Dr. Benny Tate has served for over 30 years as Senior Pastor of Rock Springs Church in Milner, Georgia. Under his leadership, the church has grown in attendance from 80 to more than 8,000 people. Rock Springs Church has multiple thriving campuses across Middle Georgia as well as an Online Campus. 

Dr. Tate served as President of the Congregational Methodist Denomination for 10 years and has served as the Chaplain for the United States Senate and House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Tate is the author of Defy the Odds, a book that encourages all people to believe that God can overcome the odds in any life. He is passionate about encouraging and supporting other leaders and ministries as well. His heart for developing leaders is the motivation for continually providing resources for growing churches. He enjoys teaching and encouraging others through his Leads Club podcast, connecting with others in his social media community, as well as teaching through Defy the Odds church growth conferences.

Bishop Michael Pitts is an international apostle and the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church. He is also the founder and Overseer of Cornerstone Global Network, which includes churches located across the United States, South Africa, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.

Bishop Pitts and his wife, Pastor Kathi, reside in Toledo, OH. They have two children; Meredith (married to Philip) and Stephen Michael, and one grandson, Theodore Brave. Michael has authored over a dozen books. In 1986, Michael and Kathi founded Cornerstone Church with a $1,000 gift from their parents, a Bible, and the desire to see God build a church where people from all backgrounds could gather together and experience the redemptive love of God. Team Antigua Island Girls became the first all-female Caribbean team to complete the grueling Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge and the first all-black team to row across the Atlantic. Their journey began in December 2018 in La Gomora, Canary Islands, and after rowing for 47 days, the team touched their home soil as champions. While the third Antiguan team to compete and complete the Atlantic challenge, the Team Antigua Island Girls’ voyage and homecoming stood apart from previous returns.

The women have selected Cottage of Hope as their charity. Cottage of Hope is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 that houses and/or serves girls who have been abused, neglected or orphaned.
