In this episode Chris speaks to the award-winning young entrepreneur Jack Parsons. He is the founder and CEO of the Youth Group, a business that works with over 1.7 million young people across the world to help provide the tools and opportunities they need to get ahead in the world of work. In 2017, at the age of just 23, he was named Young Digital Leader of the year and in 2021 the Great British Entrepreneur Awards listed him in the top 15 young entrepreneurs to watch.

In this episode Chris speaks to Kwame Kwei-Armah, the Artistic Director of the Young Vic theatre in London. He is also an actor, playwright, singer and broadcaster. From 2011 to 2018 he was the Artistic Director of Baltimore Center Stage, and he was Artistic Director for the Festival of Black arts and Culture, Senegal, in 2010. His series of eight short films, Soon Gone: A Windrush Chronicle, was shown on BBC4 in 2019. He is a patron of Ballet Black and a visiting fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.

In this episode Chris Hirst speaks to Colonel Lucy Giles, the first woman to take on the role of President of the British Army’s Officer Selection Board, where she is responsible for officer selection into the British Army. Previously she was the first female College Commander in The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst’s 200 year history. She has served in over 20 countries including South Africa, Bosnia, East Timor and Sierra Leone.

In this episode Chris Hirst speaks to Laxman Narasimhan, CEO of Reckitt, about his approach to leadership, the importance of unlearning and how to connect personally and culturally with staff in a global company. Reckitt is the global consumer goods company behind household brands such as Dettol, Durex, Vanish, Neurofen and Strepsils. Before running Reckitt, Laxman held a number of senior positions in Pepsico including Global Chief Commercial Officer and was previously a director at McKinsey.

In this episode Chris Hirst speaks to the former cricketer Michael Vaughan OBE. Vaughan assured his place in cricket history with England’s historic Ashes victory in 2005 and has gone on to become one of the sport’s most respected commentators. He captained England to a record 26 Tests and captured the hearts of the nation when he brought the Ashes back to England for the first time in 18 years.

In this last episode of the series Chris Hirst speaks to the politician Rachel Reeves. Rachel Reeves is currently the Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office. She has been the Member of Parliament for Leeds West since 2010. In 2013, she was appointed as shadow Minister for Pensions in Ed Miliband's shadow front bench team at the Department for Work and Pensions. Prior to this she spent her professional career as an economist working for the Bank of England, the British Embassy in Washington and at Halifax Bank of Scotland.

In this episode Chris Hirst speaks to the internet pioneer and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales who is perhaps the most famous silicon-valley entrepreneur to not become a billionaire. Wikipedia has changed how knowledge is accessed across the world, with 1.5 billion devices accessing the site every month. Jimmy Wales is also founder of the Wikimedia Foundation and co-founder of Wikia, a privately owned free web hosting service he set up in 2004. In 2019 he founded WT.Social, a microblogging site pitched as a 'non-toxic social network...where advertisers don't call the shots'. The service contains no advertisements and runs off donations.

She started her career as a DJ and presenter on MTV, Kiss FM and for ten years on Channel 4’s T4 youth strand. She has appeared as a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women and on Sky News’ The Pledge.Since 2010, she has built a reputation as a leading campaigner on a wide range of diversity and inclusion issues. She is a passionate advocate for change in the workplace and a champion for greater representation throughout the media. She has written two books on diversity issues - Diversify and The Power of Women - and co-founded the Women - Inspiration and Enterprise (WIE) Alliance in 2010, an international conference supporting female excellence and empowerment. She also co-founded the Decide Act Now (DNA) summit, promoting discussion and innovation.
