Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and east-end Toronto community following the sad news about 90-year-old Joseph.

He was last seen around midnight on January 29, 2026, near Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East. Police had shared that he may have been driving a greyish-blue Toyota Corolla and was without his necessary medication due to health conditions.

After widespread public appeals and a search that lasted nearly two weeks, Toronto Police confirmed on February 11 that Joseph was located deceased. The investigation remains ongoing, but authorities have stated it does not appear to be a criminal matter.

This heartbreaking resolution highlights the vulnerability of our seniors, especially in extreme weather, and the importance of community vigilance in missing persons cases.

Rest in peace, Joseph.

September 26, 1982. Oakville, Ontario.

Delia Adriano was twenty-five, engaged to be married, and just days from her birthday. Dropped off by her fiancé at 9:30 PM, she took the few steps toward her family's door.

She never made it inside.

What happened in the crucial missing hour that followed?

Around 10:30 PM, witnesses report a frantic scene less than a kilometer away: a petite woman matching Delia's description was being forced into a dark, sub-compact car. An intense argument was heard inside the vehicle before it sped away, headlights off, leaving Delia's purse behind in the dark.

Six weeks later, a gruesome discovery: Delia’s body, naked and abandoned in a Milton woodland known as a “Lover's Lane.”

For over forty years, the police have had no answers. They cleared her fiancé, but a detective and Delia's own sister share a chilling conviction: Delia knew her killer.

An unidentified young woman of Caribbean heritage, found in a remote Ontario marsh – who was she?

In 2006, skeletal remains of a young woman were discovered in a marshy field near Bowmanville, Ontario. Estimated to be 18-25 years old at death, she had distinctive dental work, a healed nasal fracture, and genetic ties to the Caribbean, possibly St. Lucia or St. Vincent.

Key items found nearby include a worn gold ring with a red garnet and diamonds from a local Oshawa jeweller, an early-1980s OMNI watch, and a 1990s "Blue Rodeo" shirt. Investigators suspect homicide due to the remote location.

Abigail Andrews, a single Metis woman, lived in a basement suite in Fort St. John, British Colombia. She worked at FSJ Fashions, and The Frontier Bar and Grill. She was pregnant but not yet showing. Abigail was last seen on the evening of April 7, 2010 walking from her home towards a friend's house.

Abigail was born in 1982 and was 28-years-old at the time of her disappearance. She also went by the name Abby.

Abigail was Indigenous, with brown to dark brown shoulder length hair, hazel eyes. She had good teeth and used a dental pallet retainer.

Abigail was 6’0” tall and weighed 201 lbs. with a medium build and light to fair complexion.

She had a deformed right index finger, that had previously been broken and healed in a deformed position. Abigail had surgical breast implants and a Tribal Art tattoo on her lower back.

Abigail was known to be carrying a pink, Blackberry cell phone, model 8230 flip phone and a leather, purple or lavender, Guess purse.

DNA and Doubt: The search for Lisa Anstey's killer leads from a serial predator to a predator with a badge

On May 12, 1997, the body of 21-year-old Lisa Anstey was found strangled in a downtown Toronto laneway, near the notorious homeless camp "Street City." Known as a "scrapper, tough as nails," Lisa was a small First Nations woman and sex trade worker who had been on the streets since age 11.

She was fully clothed, but her right running shoe was missing—a potential trophy for a killer police believed had transported her from another location.

Lisa's murder occurred amid a grim series of unsolved homicides targeting Toronto sex workers. Police chased leads, including DNA linking the killer to a white male with light hair. They even questioned convicted killer Peter Dale MacDonald, whose charges in similar cases were ultimately dropped.

But host Jay Nicoll uncovers a darker theory: whispers among street workers pointing to a known area cop, referred to as K.L., who demanded sex and threatened arrest.

Forty years ago, a brutal murder shook the community of London, Ontario. On October 13, 1983, 17-year-old Donna Jean Awcock—a vibrant teen who loved to babysit and play baseball—was found murdered. The case has remained unsolved, but her older sister, Tammy Dennett, is determined to find answers and bring her sister's killer to justice.

Donna was last seen after babysitting a neighbor’s children. She had gone to a nearby store for cigarettes, where the clerk noted she seemed nervous. Tragically, she never made it home. Hours later, a search party found her body on an embankment near Fanshawe Dam, just two kilometers from her home. She had been raped and strangled.

For decades, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have pursued tips and interviewed witnesses, yet the case remains open. The family believes someone out there holds a crucial piece of information that could finally solve the case. This is a story of a family's relentless pursuit of justice, filled with strange inconsistencies and missed opportunities.
