We're back for a new year, and a new year of Get This! On this hallowed day — the 20th anniversary of the first episode of Get This — Steven, Matt and Natalie dive deep into the first few weeks of 2007, where the 2 hour format came from, and the search for a sponsor. We also take a deep dive into early 2007 drama, where Tony goes head to head with Triple M management on the music variety. More importantly though, we're also joined by Get This' 5th Beatle Greg Fleet! We reminisce about Jumperpants (aka Das Jümperpanten), Delivery Man 2, getting pushed off or stabbed off, and much more. And as always Nick Langdon is back, this time bringing us the finest wines available to humanity.

We're back with episode 5 to wrap up Get This for 2006! Steven, Matt and Natalie discuss their recent concert experiences, including some vox pops with some Get This fans. Steven begins his own "funnyman feud" with a PWD listener. We cover some of the recurring pop culture references that Get This covered in late 2006, such as Karl Stefanovic being a robot, Frank Butcher vs David Dickinson, Ed's failed tilt at getting on Australia's Funniest Home Videos, Tony's obsession with Goldeneye, references to the cast of G.P., and Ed vs his many detractors for the "Table Tennis Tournoi". With upgraded audio equipment, we're back for episode 4. We're joined by Get This alum Tony Wilson, where we cover sports, books, CDs covered in jam, the radio ratings system, and his memories of working with Tony Martin and appearing on Get This. Champagne Comedy Podcast regular Alison subs in for Natalie who is out this week, because in true Australian radio industry style, we (temporarily) replaced one woman with another.

We cover later 2006 material, reminiscing about what happens when you play songs from The Wiggles backwards, whether Ed is "keeping the girl happy" or "Dealing with Dickinson", Get This breaking out into new markets, and the beginnings of recurring references like Ed's KFC ad, Richard's many nicknames, and Passiona High.

Steven takes a stand on Tony, Ed and Richard's regular technical misnomers and interviews a true titan of the internet to correct the Get This team. And Nick Langdon is back for a review of a mid-90's cop drama "classic".

"I've Got The Pilot On VHS"

It's the People Want Ducks TV Special! We're honored to have Get This resident TV historian Andrew Mercado join us to recap much of the television covered in Get This. We discuss much of what he brought to the Get This team, including his theme tune singing skills. Andrew provides us with an updated look at how old Australian TV is getting new life on streaming services. Steven asks some hard questions, like "Did Kate Raison really have two separate stalker storylines on Australian TV?". We also revisit stories told about behind the scenes on Australian TV from the 1960's and 70's, some of it requiring some intestinal fortitude. Matt challenges us to see whether we can guess if he's impersonating Homer Simpson, or Blakey from On The Buses. And yes, Nick Langdon's movie club is back, and it's not a TV movie! (Although one could argue that it should have been.)

We review Ed’s trip to the 2006 World Cup and based upon a random comment Tony made, Steven flies to New York to debunk a misconception.
