Three stakes have been called together this coming weekend 05/06/22 for a conference where there will be two area seventies and the membership has been told that there will be boundary changes afoot.

The Britvengers will come together to speculate as to what changes we might expect and what that means for TSCC here in the UK.

Prophet and First Elder of 'The Restored Branch of Jesus Christ', Matthew Gill is purported to be a modern-day successor to Joseph Smith.

Matthew's claims, amongst others, include:

1 - Meeting with the following heavenly messengers/beings on several different occasions. Moroni, Raphael, Uriel, Araneck, Joseph Smith, Peter, James, John, John The Baptist and Jesus Christ.

2 - Receiving a set of Brass and Copper Plate, translated by himself using the Urim and Thummin into 'The Chronicles of The Children of Araneck', a record of the ancient inhabitants of The British Isles.

3 - 'The Chronicles of Araneck' stands shoulder to shoulder with 'The Book of Mormon' as a scriptural text.

4 - The LDS church as well as other restoration movements coming out of Joseph Smiths original church are all in a state of apostasy.

This will be one of the first chances to lift the lid on Matthews movement and have a good poke around.

Margaret currently works as an Associate Professor of Classics & Comparative Studies in the Department of World Languages & Cultures

at the University of Utah.

The British Rescue feat. The Britvengers Part 2

The British Rescue has continued.

We first thought the rescue was just the three Apostles coming to regale us with their old stories and charm, but it wasn't over.

The past week has seen the church historian Keith Erekson touring the UK delivering training and hosting live Q&A sessions on church history.

With the GA visit and church history fireside all within a couple of weeks, we are pretty sure this now counts as a full-blown rescue attempt.

The Britvengers have been watching and taking part in the sessions. We will now return and report.
