Francesco is a very recognisable face for anyone following Rupes social channels - and is the most public face of the Italian machine giants. We were lucky enough to spend several days with him when we toured the Rupes factory in November last year. We have a fun packed episode this week, with our new friends Marios and Rodger from Garage Therapy, one of the coolest emerging brands in the UK.

As with our previous guests, we have some great content for you, and also a bit of fun and banter.

The day started with James getting extremely excited, as Rodger arrived in his own 'Skod missile', so now James has 2 Skoda fwends...

It didn't get much better when they began talking, and it turned out that James, Rodger AND Marios also had previous cars in common too - diesel Spanish Golfs.

Luckily we managed to actually talk about Garage Therapy, some other industry bits and bobs, and inevitably, an extended car news section.

We discuss the topic of our least favourite 'claims' made in the industry, which produced some interesting answers!

Bert didn't mention VBH in this episode, but he did mention her over lunch, so consider the topic covered.

We also have new microphones! After a long and sturdy life of service, we have upgraded our microphones, so bear with us whilst we get the levels nailed.

Bert has now studied for 6 months at Humour Hogwarts, but his references and jokes have still not improved. Luckily the mere mention of his recent vehicular escapades was enough to keep us in stitches for the duration...

Sorry for the delays, we've been super busy in the background with the reopening of our businesses (finally).

In this episode, we chat about our first off-site visit of the year, when we trundled over to the see the guys at Stjarnagloss on their amazing 24 cars in 24 hours charity event.

It also landmarked the maiden voyage of James' BMW E34 on unofficial PRO Detailer business.

Upon arrival we were met by the ever-charismatic Cav and his 'Crurr', and modern young people type music. Luckily we had Genesis in the CD player for the drive home.

Bert experiences Harlow in Essex, and we discussed Waxstock with PJ off of Dodo Juice fame. Many thanks to Simon at Cambridge Concours for the teas!

We discuss the sad cancellation of Waxstock, but give some insight into why it won't go ahead despite lockdown easing.

After quite a long spell of nothingness in the detailing World, we are now seeing some action in the arena, with brands working on new products, and even re-brands. We discuss some of the latest news and product releases, including the recent re-brand from our old friends at Dodo Juice.

This episode contains a higher amount of car banter (if even possible), including james and Bert losing themselves in the brand chosen by most architects in the 1990s. They are also famous for their Scandinavian fighter jets.

We discuss the current uplift in enquiries for professional detailing services, and ponder over the possibility of customers moving away from hand car washes due to the Covid situation.

Car news is much less exciting than normal, mainly down to Bert being the main focus of it, and Ian's A5 has stopped burning oil (life hack spoiler alert). James has nearly got at least 1 working BMW again, and the Renault is a step closer to being complete.

James' car situation has changed, and not necessarily for the better, Ian requests the return of petrol stations offering squirts up his underside, and Bert lets slip about yet another escalation with one of his stationary driveway statues.
