The artist/producer talked about the records that inspired her in her youth, all the way up to the release of ANGIE.</p><br><p>Speaking about the record, which was made with her LA-based community of collaborators like producer David Marinelli, Solomonophic, Wyatt and Austin and John DeBold, spill tab shares “It became this beautiful experience of only following ideas that I really believed in and exploring all the musical avenues I hadn’t before. I’ve never been more excited about the songs on ANGIE, and I’ve never felt like a project is more mine.”</p><br><p>Raised by a French Algerian composer father and a Korean pianist mother, Chicha spent her early years immersed in music at her parents' post-production studio, absorbing jazz, classical, and other diverse influences.
