While it becomes a habit to talk about addiction from the perspective of substances, we are definitely aware of the many types of addiction that can be equally as devastating to the lives of many who suffer. And, it's definitely true for gambling addiction.

Clare and Kevin are joined again by one of the UK's leading addictions psychiatrists, the wonderful Dr. Robert Lefever, to talk about recovery. From British private school to serving in the army, from addiction creating his own rehab, to say that Robert has had an eventful life is respectfully an understatement. Here Robert discusses his journey into recovery, the unfortnate passing of his late wife Meg and his ideal of needing creativity, spontaneity and enthusiasm. He also explains his theory people suffering from addiction are experiencing neuron-transmission disease, an inexplicable sense of emptiness from trauma and exposure to temporary escape. Dr Lefever insight is one of the most fascinating talks to be facilitated.
