Development is the product of collective and usually unnoticed acts of members of a social group. The social group begins from the unitary home to community to geopolitical regions in which the people are considered to have a common identity, aspiration and above all respect for the Humanity and intellect of each member.

When and where this is absent, the social group becomes dysfunctional and social injustice, marginalization and poverty take over.

Since 1924 a condition of class conflict was ushered into the once decentralised but united governance system we now know as Sierra Leone which is in fact a part of a broader polity called the Koya Kingdom that covered the geopolitical region we now call Mano river Union.

What are some of the effects, Norms and Value systems instituted and how is are these the root factor and forces behind the underdevelopment of a resource-rich 73000 km square?
