Chaz & Wolfie are all in on this track off the 2001 album Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica. Being hep to the Lulu plays that were Lou Reed's source inspiration, our co-hosts think they've figured out the character portrait of Little Dog. And while they're probably right, we also know there's a lot more going on in these lyrics than is immediately identifiable. So hike up your shorts, do the Chicken Wing dance, grab a plate of boneless wings with some Nando's Perri Perri sauce, and join us for a mouth watering episode that'll have you running your tongue over the hot-in-trot nearest you!

Chaz and Wolfie find themselves on the homestretch in their aural adventures with the 2011 album Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica, with this, the seventh track from the album, an 8 minute plus banger called Frustration. The clouds part, the heavens open, and you get a vision of what could have been a truly fulfilled vision for what Lou Reed categorized as a no-brainer collaboration between him and the biggest metal band in the world, Metallica. This song is the knowledge he had that there was something very powerful there. This one feels more finished and worthy of a fan's time. But is it enough to get Chaz and Wolfie thinking Bowie was right, that this is Lou's masterpiece, or was he wanking someones chain? Join us as we slather some Nando's Peri-Peri sauce our headphones, grab a plate of boneless wings, and swim into a rather spermless character study from the Lulu plays, on this, a not so very Hallmark edition of Regarding Lulu.

Episode 6. Cheat On Me

Wolfie & Chaz listen to all 11:26 of Cheat On Me, the 6th track off Lulu, the 2011 album by Lou Reed and Metallica. This marks "hump-episode" plus one, in that we've cleared the halfway mark in listening to the album track-by-bloody-track. This cut left our hosts in awe of their own ability to not run screaming from this assignment. If ever there was an episode to skip, this is it. What a stinker! Wow - we wouldn't wish this session on our worst enemies. Just kidding - or are they? A song with a lot of interesting twists and turns and off-key, nut-curling, "wtf were they thinking" back-up vocals. The song almost gets someplace...a couple of times. But our co-hosts are left just wanting more...chicken. Lots of chicken talk and a healthy dose of digression make for an average length episode with a big payload at the end of that order of Rocky Mountain Oysters. Join us for a sloppy plate of bison balls on a very fried-out episode of Regarding Lulu.

A new Lou Reed book, a new Lou Reed single, Metallica in the news discussing how well Lulu has aged - what an incredible coincidence!! So much more context for us to inform our listening of the album. And we put it to use immediately, as we take a hard listen to the third track from the 2011 album Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica, Pumping Blood. The art starts to reveal more direct ties to the source Lulu plays, but Loutallica throws our hosts for a loop, leaving them wondering, "where the hell can this go from here??" May be a hard episode from some to swallow...

Chaz and Wolfie visit on the news of the week, which is our inclusion in The Deep Dive Podcasting Network, Metallica's new song from their upcoming album 72 Seasons and James Hetfield's next obvious collaboration, this time with Peter Dinklage. In our main feature, we take a "more fairer" and balanced look at all this and the second track from the 2011 album Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica, called The View. This track kicked us in the nuts, not in a bad way. A track slaying with metal brutality, in the vein of the heaviest of Sabbath-drenched riffs...ever. Is the tide turning on the opinion into the album overall?? It's probably too early to tell, but the podcast is picking up steam with a meaty track up on the carving table...with a side of Swiss punkers The Lombego Surfers from Basel, Switzerland. Tony Thomas and the boys fry some kick-ass, surf-side garage punk right in your face.
