I have a deep appreciation for the local ecosystem.</p><br><p>My town is built on two different grids - one following the Rock River and another following an ancient Native American pathway.  The area has a rich cultural history, including 5-6 Native American villages that existed around the 1700s-1800s</p><br><p>I discuss my desire to understand and preserve the original landscape while learning about its geology, geography, and natural history, as well as the importance of connecting with nature and finding beauty in small moments</p><br><p>I also share my personal philosophy, emphasizing: the importance of compassion and understanding others, mental wellness and brain science as "the next frontier" for humanity, my spiritual perspective that values life and growth, and the value of taking small steps toward personal growth.</p><br><p>The episode ends with some practical advice about sleeping on one's left side and an overall tone of encouragement and support for listeners who might be struggling.</p><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
