ഡ്രോണുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് മഴ പെയ്യിച്ചു എന്ന വാർത്തയെക്കുറിച്ചാണ് ഈ ആഴ്ചയിലെ Sciക്കിൾ പോഡ്‌കാസ്റ്റിൽ.

മുഖാവരണം ഒരു പൊതുമര്യാദയായി മാറുന്നതിനു മുൻപ്, അതായത് കോവിഡ് പടർന്നുപിടിക്കുന്നതിന് എത്രയോ മുൻപ്, വൈകുന്നേരമായാൽ ചായക്കടകൾ ഉണരാൻ തുടങ്ങും. ഒരു പക്ഷെ കുറച്ചു കൊല്ലമായി ചായക്കടയും കടയിലെ സംസാരവും പല സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നും അന്യം നിന്നുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട്. തിരക്കേറിയ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായിട്ടാണ് ഇത് സംഭവിച്ചത്. എങ്കിലും പല സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഇന്നും സായാഹ്നവും ചായക്കടയും ഉണർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ചായക്കടയിലെ പലഹാരങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം ആരും മേടിക്കാത്ത എന്നാൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗമാൾക്കാരും ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്ന പലഹാരമായി റേഡിയോ മാറിയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ തെല്ലും അതിശയോക്തിയുണ്ടാവില്ല. പ്രധാനവാർത്തകൾ മുതൽ സിനിമ വിശേഷവും, സ്പോർട്സ് വിശേഷങ്ങളുമൊക്കെ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നത് റേഡിയോവഴിയായിരുന്നു, ഈ തത്സമയ സംപ്രേക്ഷണം കേട്ടുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു ചൂടുചായ കുടിച്ചു നിർവൃതിയടങ്ങിയവർ ഏറെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ. ഏതൊരു സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയേയും പോലെതന്നെ റേഡിയോയും ഒരു അത്ഭുതമായിരുന്നു. ഭീമൻ റേഡിയോ മുതൽ കുഞ്ഞൻ റേഡിയോവരെ അക്കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ട്. ദൃശ്യമാധ്യമമായ ടെലിവിഷന്റെ വരവോടുകൂടി റേഡിയോയുടെ ജനപ്രീതി തെല്ലൊന്നു കുറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും കുറച്ചു വർഷങ്ങളായി റേഡിയോ എന്ന മാധ്യമത്തിന് പുത്തൻ ആസ്വാദകരെ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. യാത്രക്കിടയിലും, വീട്ടിൽ പാചകം ചെയ്യുമ്പോളും, ചെടി നനക്കുമ്പോഴുമൊക്കെ റേഡിയോ നമ്മളിൽ പലരും കേൾക്കാറുണ്ട്.

ഫെബ്രുവരി 13 ലോക റേഡിയോദിനമായി ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുകയാണ്. പുതിയ ലോകം, പുതിയ റേഡിയോ എന്ന പൊതു ആശയത്തിലൂന്നിയാണ് റേഡിയോ ദിനം ഈ വർഷം ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. Sciക്കിളും ഈ ആഘോഷത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേരുകയാണ്. ഒരു പോഡ്കാസ്റ്റ് സംരംഭം എന്ന നിലയ്ക്ക് കുറച്ചധികം സന്തോഷത്തോടെയാണ് ഈ ആഘോഷത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേരുന്നത്.
