She was married to country legend Keith Whitley up until his tragic death and later married and divorced country star Sammy Kershaw. Lorrie was also managed by Shady Lady Susan Nadler who likes to credit Lorrie for encouraging her love of country music and playing pranks on people. Beyond her music career, Lorrie and her husband own Lorrie Morgan’s Spicy Hot Chicken Coop in Panama City Beach.
