On January 10th, Richard and I attended a Press Day for Short Circuit at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. Short Circuit is an experimental program that began in 2016. Anyone working at Walt Disney Animation Studios can pitch an idea for a short, which could potentially be selected to create an original short film with the support of the Studio and fellow artists. 

So on this press day, we viewed all 14 shorts that are now available on Disney+ for your viewing pleasure. Afterwards, we got to speak with all 14 directors about their experience, in a series of 4 roundtables. Well, we recorded all of those conversations, and YOU are the only ones who will hear these interviews! We hope you enjoy, Skywalking Force!

Extra special for you! This is the discussion with Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald on the new Rise of Skywalker Star Tours update! 

On Dec 20th, Richard and I were invited to a small media preview of Star Tours. We had to check in at 7:45am, and were then escorted over to Star Tours. There, they loaded all of us into one Starspeeder, and we were the first to embark on a journey through the planets you see in The Rise of Skywalker. Tom Fitzgerald entered the Starspeeder after our first ride, and gave us an overview of his Imagineer experience. We then rode one more time, and spoke with Tom again after the experience. Because of you, we have been able to invest in these binaural microphones. We recorded nearly everything! Our first reactions, the Smugglers Run ride, the Cantina and just exploring the land.

This first episode documents the half of our first trip on May 31st. We began recording even before we were let loose in the land, and you’ll hear us chatting with the citizens of Batuu (cast members). In our next few bonus episodes we will give you even more.
