The organization has educated hundreds of girls, who have delivered pitches and sold products to more than 10,000 customers at GCI's pop-up shops.

But how did Roxanne's daughters inspire her to start a business? Why does she create a non-profit organization, and how did her pop-up shop become a popular market place for other girls too? Joyce uses new and recycled materials to create zany creatures that have attitude and spunk. These colourful characters---infused with large doses of humour—are inspired by the wildlife of Florida, from funky Sandhill Cranes, lazy alligators, to her very own dog and cat. Joyce strives to keep her art environmentally friendly and she uses plastic bottles, cardboard, old toys, guitar strings, wires and layers of paint to create her animals.
