Children are very simple. All they ever want and need is to be loved and protected by their parents and beloved family members. If they are made to think that love and protection can be earned in a certain way, they will hold on to that thought and go out of their way to do whatever it takes to get their needs met. When I was only about 4 years old, I had a thought and the thought was that if I please others I will get their love and appreciation. In this podcast, I share with you that moment that led to that thought which was the root of my people-pleasing tendency for over 25 years of my life. Who would have thought it all started with a simple praise. Tune in to know more!

Music by Epidemic Sound: Slo-mo - Aiyo

Hosted on Acast.
