We Got This Canada is an incorporated non-profit which aims to provide nutrition, assistance, and engagement to low income families, individuals with disabilities, special needs and seniors.

 

What is We Got This Canada

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Manitoba, founders and couple, Rashmi Saxena and Ankur Aneja started a Facebook group to provide relief to Winnipeg’s families, seniors, and immune-compromised individuals who had lost access to basic necessities and needed assistance. The Facebook group started as a platform for community members to help each other. Within a few months, the group had thousands of members donating their time, food, and resources to those who needed it the most. Members of the group built a caring community who believed that they could overcome their challenges together.


In order to continue providing support to people-in-need beyond the pandemic, the founders incorporated the group as a non-profit in May 2020. Since then, team members have established regular programs to provide emergency meals and hampers, assistance, and engagement to people, with the help of local businesses and generous donors. Over the next few years, the We Got This Canada team hopes to grow and touch the lives of thousands of Canadians-in-need by building a caring and inclusive society where everybody is well nourished, supported and nurtured.

Kidthink Children’s Mental Health Centre Inc. (KIDTHINK) is a mental health treatment centre and outreach program that focuses on improving mental health and well-being for children aged 12 and under in Manitoba.

We can help your child with anxiety treatment as well as ADHD, depression, behavioural, and learning challenges. If your child is struggling with their mental health, we can help.

What is KIDTHINK

Kidthink Children’s Mental Health Centre Inc. (KIDTHINK) is a mental health treatment centre and outreach program that focuses on improving mental health and well-being for children aged 12 and under in Manitoba.

We can help your child with anxiety treatment as well as ADHD, depression, behavioural, and learning challenges. If your child is struggling with their mental health, we can help.


KIDTHINK provides child, parenting and family support and treatment from a multidisciplinary team that includes psychology, psychiatry, social work, and occupational therapy, and play therapy who all work together to give the children and their families the highest standard of care.

From revitalizing the rooms of a palliative care unit and a blood and marrow unit to providing funds to stage a puppet program to explain the effects of cancer to children, the Never Alone Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. CanU is a Winnipeg-based charitable organization that inspires hope and confidence in the leaders of tomorrow through its out-of-school mentorship and educational enrichment program for youth in Grades 5-12. Throughout the year, CanU Kids participate in a wide range of educational experiences on post-secondary campuses and develop their nutrition, health, academic, social, and leadership skills. CanU programs are designed and led by post-secondary student volunteers who are honing their leadership and community service skills.
