This episode is the second in our boundaries series. Today, we discuss recognizing boundaries in our own lives. We explain the boundaries that already exist in our lives naturally, the importance of understanding what is our responsibility and what is not our responsibility in order to set proper boundaries. We also delve into how boundaries apply not only to this mortal live but also to our eternal life.

This episode wouldn't be complete without my soap box discourse on the culture of the church and how, in this case, it uses shame and guilt to force people to become someone they are not just to fit a stereotype. God created three kingdoms of glory for a reason, knowing not all His children would be happy in the same kingdom. We have our agency and we are encouraged to use it to set boundaries that we are happy with, regardless of what others think.

Hosted on Acast. And what does that really mean?

This episode looks at the things in our lives that keep us from fully going all in and letting God prevail. The natural man in all of us is one of the biggest culprits. The natural man urges us to become a slave to our desires, passions, and appetites for the things of the world. Those things are not bad in themselves; we have been given these desires by a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to enjoy our desires and passions, but keep them within healthy boundaries for our own benefit and happiness.

Today we talk about what those boundaries are, what holds us back from going all in, and, of course, we show you how to let God prevail in your life.

Hosted on Acast.

A good question to ask yourself is where do I place my trust? In this episode, we peel the layers back on the issue of trust and where our trust truly lies. The culture creates an environment where we put our trust in our leaders and in what we are taught rather than trusting on ourselves and ultimately trusting in God.

Gaining trust in God is a process, not a one shot deal. You have to be able to trust yourself and others, then build your trust to the point where you have complete trust in the Almighty.

In this episode, we tackle the murky waters of dating! We discuss how your experiences while dating are shaped by either fear or faith. The dating game is tortuous at best and we delve into why fear creates such bad experiences for people, and why it doesn't need to be this way.

The key to successful dating is to become aware of yourself. Many people fear that others won't like them for who they really are. People have bad experiences in marriage then feel they have to prove themselves after divorce because they have been told they are not good enough.

In this episode, we delve into the various sides of faith and challenge those who mock faith. As complicated as people make faith, we explain how God has actually made the playing field level for everyone to have faith. All God requires is we exercise a particle of faith and simply have the desire to want to believe - everyone is capable of that.

We all have mountains in our lives, whether they are mountains of doubt, loneliness, finances, acceptance or any challenge we face, faith is what creates the miracles that remove those mountains. The trials in our lives are God's plan for us and help us to become the version of ourselves that God sees for us.
