In this week's Cosmic Weather Report, I talked about how easy it can be, with all that's happening in the world, to feel hopeless, helpless and powerless. But this week's energies are calling us to be the hope, optimism and light that the world needs right now. It seems potent that we have so much Mars energy, with Mars meeting Uranus and moving into Aries, as Mars governs the root chakra, which helps us to feel grounded, rooted and safe. Just like you may have experienced in last week's tree meditation, it's only when we feel safe and at home within ourselves that we can take action, make decisions, feel purposeful, trust our intuition, and therefore be the change and hope and optimism and light that the world needs right now. So this week, here is a prayer (you may call it an affirmation or visualisation) that you can listen to and repeat every day to help you to rest in the centre of your own power faith, hope, and optimism, and from there ripple it out into the world.❤️

This is a powerful week for beginning to take back our power - to remember, reclaim and rise. As we move towards the Aquarius new moon solar eclipse, we are being called into the Aquarian energies, bringing power back to the people and inviting us to step into our purpose and potential. This week marks the final days of Scorpio season and brings us the Scorpio new moon - the perfect time to sit with and meet our shadows. Your shadow self is made up of all the parts of you that you try to hide, suppress or deny. These are the parts you judge, see as weakness, feel embarrassed about, or simply don’t want to face.

Anything within us that doesn’t align with the image we want to show the world often gets pushed into the shadows - the emotions, desires, and beliefs we fear to express, the words we’re too afraid to speak. Our shadows hold such power when they stay hidden, keeping us afraid of anyone else seeing them. But when we turn on a light in a dark room, the shadows don’t seem quite so frightening anymore.
