I mentioned during my 2023 Reading Rewind show that I wanted to talk more about books that I rated less than 5 stars and that I didn’t really like, so we’re starting 2024 off strong with just that. The Housemaid is a thriller about a young woman named Millie who gets hired to work as a housemaid for a wealthy family. Unfortunately, the woman of the house, Nina, seems set in making Millie’s job - and life - hard. Little does Millie know, both of them are holding on to dark secrets.
