In an intimate conversation, Sachit talks about Rajatpat, contemporary issues in the film industry, film journalism and the way ahead for Nepali films.

Pradip Lama: The Masterchef of Nepali Films with 40 years in film kitchens

Pradip Lama is one of the most experienced people working in Nepali films spearheading the kitchen department for the past 4 decades. Hailing from a village from Nuwakot which has produced numerous film technicians till date, lama has worked with a large contingent of film makers and actors ranging from Rajesh Hamal, Bhuwan K.C. , Saroj Khanal, Karishma Manandhar, Shiva Shrestha to Anmol Kc, Suhana Thapa, Samragyee Shah, Pushpa Khadka.

In today's episode he shares his story starting from village life to working with almost each established actor and director.

Rakshya Singh Rana is Nepal's first female editor and one of the very few directors who have been actively working for a long span of time. Started during the transition period of analogue and digital technology, she has manouvered her way through a filed dominated by men. Having worked as editor for numerous films, she ventured into directing and since then have directed a feature film and several documentaries.
