Heshima Ministries is an organization in Uganda that Misty Newsome birthed after living there for three months to pursue the adoption of her son in 2014. This Non-Profit Organization is near and dear to my heart. Since 2016, Heshima has served women and children in Uganda. They empower women with skill and resources as entrepreneurs. Heshima offers classes in sewing and cosmetology. Each graduate receives a cosmetology starter kit or sewing machine. Right now, Heshima needs Prayer Volunteers to cover each woman enrolled in Heshima's school. The day is coming when our little ones no longer need us 24/7. And as a mama, that is a struggle for me. Graduation is a huge milestone that, as a parent, we all know is around the corner. And sometimes it comes faster than we expect it. I'm a mom of three adorkable older kids, we have faced this reality with one of our son and will be facing it again next year with our daughter.

With graduation, our role transitions into a coach instead of a parent because our child reached the milestone of Adulthood. So how do we do that? How do we transition into the life coach our Adult child needs?

I share three steps in this episode that have helped me transition into this role after discovering the 7 styles of parenting. I unpack all seven styles and then give you the three steps.
