Huge discussions around origin sides and pretty well come to the conclusion that NSW cannot possibly lose this game just on face value. Which is fine, still looking forward to the game and you never know... The Dogs and Penrith played out a classic on Thursday night, doesn't get easier for the dogs this week up against the Broncos. A couple of sell-out stadiums on a Saturday afternoon for the NRL was absolutely great to see! We need someone to stand up in Aussie top order before this summer's Ashes, who will it be? Plenty of AFL news with around Carlton and Richmond at the tribunal as we recorded, we will see how many weeks Tom Lynch gets. UFC 317 was an absolutely cracker of a card with knockouts galore! Vegas weekend is over for another year and we think it will only keep getting better and better, big props to the Jillaroo's. Yes, the poms absolutely have some work to do but can't take anything away from the girls. Penrith and Cronulla showcased the game perfectly in the blockbuster clash, and we are pretty sure Canberra won the comp after their celebrations post match. You would think there must have be some rescheduling in the AFL opening round with games set to be played in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Looking forward to a cracking game of Friday Night Footy with the Swans and Hawks at the SCG. Great effort on the No Limit card from Vegas Larfield and Liam Wilson. Fair bit of heat in the Wilson fight but good to see the boys shake hands and sort it out post fight. Ya wouldn't believe it but there was a bit of controversy in a big boxing bout between Tank Davis and Lamont Roach, wouldn't be a big fight without it. Everyone will be gee'd up for Alex Pereira this weekend at UFC 313, very interesting to see what his opponents game plan will be! Chucky Sanders very stiff not to get captain of the week again after his effort in the Dubai Desert Classic, but this show is ruthless. Hudson Old and Morgan Smithies decided to get the party started early, just a classic case of jet lag and the boys on edge! How good was the V8's finish on the weekend between Cam Waters and Broc Feeney! Surely what they were doing was not allowed but it made for great television. Two Aussie UFC title fights coming right up please and thank you; I think the whole world will be rooting for Jack Della Madalena when he fights for the Welterweight title against the jock sniffing Belal Muhammad. Sport all over the world this week. Cricket is Sri Lanka, UFC in Sydney, Super Bowl in the US, not to mention weird sport of the week and plenty more. Steven Smith might just be ready to go god mode again just in time for this year's ashes in Australia. We start to ponder what the Aussie team will do come Ashes time, there's a few headaches around the opening spot but there are good problems to have with our all-rounder position. We get into the Superbowl, nothing to do with the game we just give Americans a bath for calling themselves World Champions in domestic competitions. Tommy recaps UFC312 and wants everyone to know he may have predicted how it would go...and it did just that. Good to see Strickland lose, usually love his chat but he lost the plot over here. As promised, the 3rd major announcement from us Reggies! Wait till you hear it! Huge dive into the cricket, the women's side absolutely demolishing the poms. We obviously tee off on the english, which is well deserved because some of the fielding and bowling was well below par for test level. Have we uncovered Brenden McCullum as a mole in the English cricketing set up? The Aussie men were great don't get us wrong but you could not have asked for a better scenario for Joshy Inglis to come and debut. Heady wins the Allan Border medal and Annabel Sutherland wins the Belinda Clark, what an effort from those two players last year. Tommy is off to the UFC in Sydney this weekend so we preview the card, we talk some boxing with a huge fight announced in September for 2 of the world's best. We try to get back to our roots and talk about some pure Reggie athletes who have got all the skill and ability but are just Reggie's when it comes to training and preparation. New segment from Tom starting this week called 'weird sport of the week'. Shin kicking was this weeks weird sport, that sounds shit doesn't it? The Daka rally champion Daniel 'Chucky' Sanders finally gets all the recognition he deserves after taking out one of the world's most gruelling races. We talk cricket, the Aussie girls retain The women's Ashes yet again after winning the first t20i, let's look toward a clean sweep. Big Bash finals are underway and we are sneakily supporting the stars with G.Maxwell in great form. Plenty of tennis action on and off the court, big discussion around Jannik Sinner and his drug cheating scandal plus Tony Jones and Novak Djokovic going toe to toe. Tommy wants answers from the RRLC regarding why there is not heaps of posts telling him how well he done with the UFC predictions? We also yarn about how good boxing is getting with the best fighting the best consistently. A bit of footy, a bit of racing and a quick call to Barbs to see if we could get a bite out of him. How good is beating the poms. Women's Ashes well and truly under way with Australia taking a 2-0 lead in the ODI series. A long way to go but a great start for the girls. Big bash brilliance all round from Smith, Maxwell, Matt Short all playing outstanding innings for their sides. We've been getting into the big bash this year, something about it! Bit of Kyrgios chat after his early exit from Aussie open, lets move on from him and look ahead to our other Aussie superstars performing at Melbourne Park. Sam Goodman has had his heart ripped out after another head cut ruling him out of the fight with Inoue. Word is that he has lost his chance to fight him for now, which is super dissapointing for him. The Gold Coast Turf Club must have done something seriously wrong to somebody because they just have the worst luck in terms of racedays. Bad weather again means the magic millions meeting moves to Friday. Some huge names return to the trials this week, a lot of Chris Waller runners which is super exciting. Tommy is back with his motorsport segment, big coverage of Daniel 'Chucky' Sanders in the Dakar Rally, what an absolute legend and we wish him all the best for the remaining rounds! A monster first show of the year, which it was always going to be! Returning after a couple of weeks hiatus we catch up because we genuinely didn't see one another since the last punt show. Huge recap of the whole 5 test matches starting with Perth and finishing with a cracking ending in Sydney for the pink test. We talk all things Bumrah, Kohli, Siraj, Head, Smithy, Marnus, ALL of the bowlers because they won us the series. We look ahead to the Sri lankian tour and even further towards the Ashes next summer. The darts at the Ally Pally for the world champs was electric, Lukey Littler winning the first of what will be many world titles. A heap of boxing coming up including Jai Opetaia tonight and Sammy Goodman coming up later this month. Tommy does his first ever motorsport segemnt all by himslef! He covers the Daka rally as his mate Daniel 'Chucky' Sanders is absolutely killing in the first few stages. What a massive last 'weekly' show for the year. Of course, we still have a couple of special episodes to put out over the Christmas period but we sign off for the year with a huge cricket infused episode after Australia absolutely dominated India at the AO. Travvy Head stole the show, Mohammad Siraj and Harshit Rana tried their best to become the most hated men in Australia and the series is set up for a cracking last 3 tests. The Aussie girls made Sunday a day of domination for Aussie cricket after piling on the runs at Allan Border field. Some crazy finishes in the Sheffield Sheild on the weekend and a bedshit from Riley Meredith ensured South Australia won on the last ball. Speaking of bedshits, ask golfer Anothony Quail how his week was. Juan Soto is the richest man in baseball after signing a 1.19B AUD deal with the NY Mets! We try to wrap our heads around just what the deal means and just how much money per game big Juan is on. A big recap on the UFC and boxing plus a look ahead to the next few weeks of events. A massive weekend on the sauce caused some serious brain gout on this weeks episode, which weas recorded on Monday evening instead of Tuesday. The Scotty Claridge memorial golf day was an absolute hoot, can't wait to do it all again next year. We are that gee'd up for the next test to start on Friday, D/N test under lights at the Adelaide Oval with probable changes to both sides. We are all hoping Marnus comes out and makes 100 and Australia piles on the runs. Laurie Daley has been announced as the NSW Blues head coach for season 2025, and great decisions being made already by bringing in Craig Bellamy as an 'advisor'. The fat man Paul 'fatty' Vautin announced he is stepping away from all duties at channel 9, we reminisce on the days of the footy show and what an absolute larrikin and all-around champion of the game the fat was. Australian rugby looks to have turned a corner, narrowly going down to No.2 ranked Ireland on Sunday morning after a huge defensive effort, all signs point up! Rugby AU need to do whatever they can to retain Joe Schmidt for the 2027 world cup. The F1 season for the constructor's championship will go down to the wire at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, and lets hope the FIA stewards are more on the ball this week than they were in Qatar. Huge boxing cards to look forward to in the next 2-3 weeks, cannot wait for Sammy Goodman, Usyk/Fury and some cracker UFC cards as well. We were wound right up last week so we come in with a nice fresh attitude on this week's edition of The Reggies. Amanda Serrano was absolutely robbed by the judges, but what a brutal display of women's boxing her and Taylor put on. What does Jon Jones do now? Only he will know. Did we save the back fence? Bulldog Richie was very lucky to escape squeeze of the week after his rubbish rumour. It's draft day for the AFL, where will Levi Ashcroft end up going? No.1? No.5? Surely Richmond make the Lions pay full price but reports say different. The summer of cricket feels like its finally here! First test this Friday after sweeping Pakistan in the T20i series. Are we going to see the batsmen dominate the series or will the bowlers continue to dominate test cricket? What about Mitch Marsh, full circle moment coming up this summer for him. The boxing Day test in 2018/19 against India was his darkest day in cricket, getting boo'd by Australian fans. He is now an Allan Border medallist and world champion. We NEED to get behind him and give the biggest roar at the MCG on boxing day when he comes out to bat to erase all memories of the boo's. Another big episode this week covering no less than 5 sports. If nothing else that will be an absolute spectacle for Sammy to be a part of. Ep.130 - The Off Season Is Here

The Rugby League and AFL off seasons are in full swing Reggies! We discuss the Ezra Mam situation, the GWS Giants Wacky Wednesday situation and give an honest light-hearted opinion of both. The pacific championships have begun for both the men and women with a big win for the jillaroos, a scrappy win the kangas and how good was seeing PNG win. They love footy! The AFL should change the trade period to 12 hours because that’s when all the deals get done, the draft order is set (for now) until 47 picks get shuffled around during early November. Timmy Tszyu suffered a devastating loss on Sunday and hasn’t the social media world turned on him. Not us! We will stick by Timmy forever. The UFC this Sunday should be a cracker with both the co-main and main events looking like mouth-watering fights. Massive show after a couple of massive weekends of golf for both Jace and Gropes. After all the build-up and excitement of the scramble final, there may have been some choking go on. The Pacific Championships start this weekend, the AFL trade period has laid dormant for 8 days but we FINALLY had trades on Tuesday. Cameron then tells us about his passion for the business that is Pulse Racing Thoroughbreds and what they do in the day to day: going out to trackwork, working with bloodstock agents and the research that goes into purchasing thoroughbreds. The T20 world cup moves into the super 8 stage of the tournament so hopefully a few more competitive games ahead, after some absolutely pathetic excuses for games of cricket during the first stage of the tournament. A massive recap of boxing with a new world champion of Australia Liam Paro getting the job done overseas. We look ahead to some big fights for No Limit with a couple of friends of the show getting a chance to fight soon. The motorsport....we are QLDers at the end of the day so we saw the clip come through and thought we would give Zakiah one last chance and he did not disappoint. Seeing the Tigers and Bulldogs win at their respective home grounds last weekend was so good for rugby league, we need to keep Leichhardt Oval an NRL ground at any cost. Heaps of chat around both the Reece Walsh incident, the Rabbitohs dramas and then moving into the AFL we talk about 2m Peter and his potential suspension which has divided opinions. We've gone out and said can West Coast or North even win a game this season? So no doubt they'll both win this weekend. Jeremy Marshal King copped an all time falcon, would have had a sore head Monday. Jace’s referring performance at Brookvale Oval was an absolute shocker, very squeeze worthy in a few peoples opinion. The collywobbles are back and in big trouble to defend their flag after Sydney tore through them. She’s a lonnngggggg trip to Perth boys, the lions finding that out on Sunday against Fremantle, first time in history that both Grand Final sides from the previous year have gone 0-2! Crazy start. Ellyse Perry put her WIPL side on her back and won them the title in India, and Matty Wade plays his last game of Sheffield Shield for Tasmania this weekend in the final against WA. Huge news in the boxing world as Tim Tszyu has a new opponent and is fighting for 2 belts now on March 30 as Keith Thurman pulls out of the fight. The tips go in, and we get prepped for another huge weekend of sport!

The boys get their footy tips in and try to predict the NRL ladder for the year, fuckin good luck to anyone attempting that. We cover some AFL but with the first of the real practice matches only just taking place as we record, next week we can dive right in and do our ladder predictions for the AFL as well (Tom’s should be interesting). India win the test series against England, some good banter with the poms as per usual. Heartbreak in the Asian cup soccer for the Socceroos and we get into some six nations rugby later on in the episode. The new studio is almost ready! The Reggies are spending their last show or 2 on the couch and plan to be in the new studio with the new set up by Feb 7, the announcement of the reggies 4n1 cooler drop is set for Feb 8. Loads of content from the RRLC during the week, photos from a recent wedding were shared where the baggy reg took centre stage of the photoshoot! Jace is off the Gabba day/night test and the call went out for all the reggies to meet up meet up and have a beer. The Big Bash final took place during recording so apologies (not really) about all the screaming and carrying on. Josh Browns semi final heroics were big time captain of the week material, however he may just get pipped at the post. Cricket Australia and Patrick Cummins have aligned in their thought process surrounding the controversial Australia Day test match. Very sensitive topic so the boys do their best to navigate. Gropes is not happy with the golfing world, particularly the LPGA or whatever we are supposed to call it these days. The sales catalogue is out for the Easter sales put up by Inglis Bloodstock, with massive attention being paid to lot no.391 who is the first foal of arguably the greatest mare of all time. The old boys, barbs and the reggies all must lift on the punt before this new format starts in a couple of weeks time. Is this the week they turn the tide.

The RRLC group had some cracker additions this week with the members providing the goods and a heap of laughter. On the back of last week's Aussie sporting team names, we dive into some absolutely hilarious New Zealand national sporting team names. Rain is threatening to ruin the Australia and South Africa semi final at the cricket world cup, lets hope they get on the field and it is not a rain affected match. The Indian cricket board are in trouble for allegedly doctoring the pitch for their semi final against the kiwis. Same old same old. Jace has the money for the BlueBet punters club and we need to print some money this week! The Melbourne Cup carnival wasn’t kind to us but we will always bounce back and find some winners.

Another big show for the reggies with Tommy and Gropes recapping an unreal week down in Victoria. A few thousand beers, caught up with some legends who support the show, and saw all that Melbourne had to offer! The RRLC 18th man search is back on with a cracking edition coming from a reggie soccer player. The poor ol kiwis had a shocker of a Saturday night/Sunday morning, rugby world cup final, pacific championships and the cricket team all going down within a matter of hours! Ben Stokes and the english bazball team have absolutely shit the bed and they do not get missed, in fact they cop a hammering! The Flemington carnival begins this Saturday with a punters dream, Derby Day! 3 group 1's at Flemington plus the Golden Eagle at Rosehill. Gropes gives us about 35 tips to try to ensure he at least gets something for the punters. All reggie eyes will be on the Golden Eagle at Rosehill with the punters club, old boys and barbs all having bets there.

As we mentioned a few times, while Jace the matchstick was touring Europe we got the Reggie's own Barbs the Brisbane horseman in the studio for a chat. Everyone was absolutely hanging out their rear ends during this episode, as barbs got stuck into his guitar work the night before. We dive into barbs history with horse racing, the love that all people involved in the industry have for these animals, and just how much work and effort goes into getting a horse from the paddock to the race track.
