After realizing that she couldn't get what her daughter wanted T-shirt-wise, she took matters into in her own hands and created a fun, colorful and positive range of t-shirts that let girls show their love of dinosaurs and pirates. Lots of people are really frustrated. I can see in so many facebook groups, people feel they are stuck because they don't have enough time, because they are working (full time) and they try to launch their business on the side. They have families or someone they have to take care of. Time is very limited. or maybe resources are limited. It takes money to launch a business, everybody says it. So they feel they can't feel they can't do anything. It's heartbreaking.

In this week's episode, I talk about the 1st step when you set-up the online side of business.

Even before setting up your website, you need to set-up a way to start a conversation with potential clients and your audience. That's done through building a list.

Week after week, your audience start to know you and build love and trust for you and the business. I am talking about one provider in particular but also what mindset you need when you create your account, with any provider.

A good tool when you start is Mailchimp.(read the full article before creating your account with Mailchimp, there's a surprise at the end) It's free up to 2000 persons on your list and the cheaper option is $10, with quite a bit of power in for such a price. Episode 0 ? Zero because I'm just explaining today what the podcast is about and who I am. So I’m Pascale, I’m French, that would explain the little Frenglish that may happen on this podcast (sorry about that). I live in London, I’m a make-up artist (don’t expect though too much make-up chat on this podcast though because all I want to talk about in this podcast is about creativity, systems, tools and self care. (And apps). And Breathing. Lots of breathing.

Why ? Because over the years, being surrounded by creative people, I have realised that I have a few superpowers that come handy : I can translate from Geek to English easily, I love hunting for great resources, I am really good at finding solutions to limitations and I want to share all this with you.
