The Showbiz Chunder

Next Joel O'Brien tells about having star billing, and losing his voice. And finally Carly Bettinson tells of her last audition before COVID lockdowns, and a very long car trip with her Mum.

A collection of stories from our Monday night Insta-Live on in the first two weeks of may, which covered the themes of "Surprise!" and "Friends and Enemies". But let's be honest, they all can fit the "Surprise!" theme. First up, we have our host, Matt Young, gayly gushing about Courtney Monsma, who is the next generation of musical theatre royalty in Australia, and tells the story "meeting" Celine Dion and some time later jumping out of a plane. Second is Story Chunder favourite Charleen Marsters, whose first appearance at the live event was so salacious, I couldn't release the story on YouTube, telling us about discovering she is pregnant with her first child. Next up, comedian Shad WIcka mistakenly holds up a mug with a FILTHY word on it in the presence of Australia's Prime Minister. Finally, Doony, our early adaptor, and a hilarious stand up, explains his experience with the Nigerian prince e-mail scam.

A very rocky couple of weeks of quarantine and self-isolation in the time of COVID-19 has brought us storytellers from across state lines, and around the globe.
