Kennedy Digie: It was a no-brainer to join Tamworth

Kennedy Digie has achieved a lot since joining Tamworth in the summer of 2024. The defender was part of the Lambs squad which in 2024/25 set a new club record league finish and also reached the FA Cup third round.

The 29-year-old also scored in the 2025 Birmingham Senior Cup final when Tamworth beat Burton Albion 4-1 to win the trophy.

We spoke to Kennedy during the week before Christmas to discuss his early football career, what it is like to be part of Tamworth's squad and how the 2025/26 season is going so far.

Alfie Bates: Playoffs would be 'astronomical' for Tamworth

Despite still being just 24 years old, Tamworth's Alfie Bates already has an impressive football CV. The midfielder has played club football in Finland and in European competition, as well as in the EFL for Walsall.

He also won the 2024/25 National League North title with Brackley Town, before joining Tamworth in the summer of 2025.

We spoke to Alfie a few days before Tamworth’s visit to Scunthorpe United in December.

The 1980s and 1990s are arguably among the most important decades in Tamworth Football Club history - but, what was it like to watch the Lambs during these years?

This time, we're joined by Andy, a Tamworth Football Club super-fan, shareholder and sponsor, who shares his memories with us.

We discuss the Lambs’ glorious FA Vase run of 1989, watching the team at Wembley and winning the trophy in a replay at Peterborough.

We then look back on the 1990s, a decade in which Tamworth only once finished outside the top 10 in league football, and we ask Andy about his recollections of 1996/97 when the Lambs won the title what is still the club’s all-time highest points total for a league season.

Andy also shares with us his hopes for 2024/25 in the National League.
