Navigating Threshold Moments in Life

In this episode, Roseleen shares about threshold moments when the old self no longer fits, but the new self has not yet fully arrived or been anchored into your being. We explore those in-between spaces where your identity, roles, relationships, health, career and purpose begin to shift.

How do you recognise when you are in a threshold? Is it the fatigue, doubt, loss of motivation, questioning, and the push-pull between safety and expansion?

What gets in the way of you crossing the threshold? Is it the fear of making the wrong choice, the temptation to burn everything down?

Thresholds are often seen as becoming someone new but what if they are more about returning to what has always been within you... a return to your authentic self.. your true essence... a coming home.

We'll reflect on burnout, midlife, ego death, sovereignty and the necessity of witnessing these transitions rather than rushing through them. We'll touch on discernment, grounded action, nervous system integration and learning to cross consciously without bypassing the practical realities of change.

Winter Solstice: The Darkness as Your Teacher

The Medicine of Samhain: Death and descent as a path to regeneration

In this episode, I share how to walk with the energy of Samhain and not ignore it's wisdom. Samhan is the turning point of the Celtic Wheel that invites us to sit closer to the descent, death, and regeneration.

How can we honor where we are changing/dying and not rush the process of it. Can we let death be a teacher that shows us how to live more fully.. to show up more fully for life.

As the veils are thin, we have the opportunity to connect with our benevolent Ancestors... to remember who we are, where we come from and why we are here.

Throughout this time of Samhain and until Imbolc, An Cailleach is calling us further down and further in.. asking us to come into our centre… into the void. She reminds us that their is deep medicine held in this space.. a place where all that is hidden is being unveiled.

Healing is messy and beautiful when we learn to embrace the Mystery.

This week's podcast episode asks 'What does healing mean to you?' and how does that definition support or hinder your healing?

Imagine healing as an ongoing, natural part of life - not something to be conquered, a destination to be reached or something reserved only for crisis moments. How can we move from seeing healing as linear, goal-oriented, or something within us to be "fixed."? What if we could open to the idea that our healing is a deeply personal and non-linear journey. One that invites us to embrace curiosity, self-compassion, and acceptance of all parts of ourselves - including the messy, tender, and resistant aspects?

We explore the importance of allowing healing to unfold in its own time and the soul's time. What would happen if we let go of the expectations we place on ourselves and our healing so we can be surprised at how the benefits ripple throughout our being and life. Rather than striving for perfection or instant results, we can instead focus on becoming more alive, embracing vitality, and engaging with life as it happens.

The episode ends with an invitation to reflect on what would change if you embraced wholeness as you are today.

Samhain (Part 2): Walking with An Cailleach and Death

In this episode, we explore Samhain, the turning point on the Celtic Wheel where we are invited to meet the depths within ourselves. The parts of ourselves that we’ve tucked away, resisted, or grown too comfortable with, even if they no longer serve us. Just as the snake sheds its skin, Samhain invites us to release what we’ve outgrown, to lay down what no longer fits, and offer these aspects to the cauldron of transformation. When we do this with reverence alchemy happens.

We also explore our relationship with death, our wise companion guiding us to live fully. Death teaches us that sometimes growth demands a sacrifice, where we are willing to lay down something precious in exchange for a fuller life. By navigating the ‘mini deaths’ such as the endings, completions, and changes in our lives, we prepare ourselves to meet the ultimate death with grace. To live life well and to die well is a gift to ourselves and others.

We pause to listen for the call of An Cailleach, that ancient wise woman of winter who guides us to reclaim our sovereignty, wildness and deepest inner knowing. Join me as we step into the coming darkness with our companions – An Cailleach and Spirit of Death
