The first semi-final saw Kilkenny and Waterford battle it out in another 2020 classic encounter. But even though TJ Reid tried his best, Kilkenny couldn't hold off a rampant second half Waterford display.

A lost and lonely Shane Dowling spent his Sunday watching on as Limerick and Galway served up the hurling equivalent of The Queen's Gambit with Limerick making enough right moves to come out on top.
