We will be delving deep into environmental matters. From Rachel Carson's first book, Silent Spring, to latter day sustainability, both economic and environmental. The difference is not generally understood. We will approach this in a fun way, starting with this neat little video my friend, Lissa Oliver, and I made in Kildare. One could not get much deeper than "peat". You can buy my book "Elements of the Environment - Peat" and learn about peat around the world. From local to global: 20 years of monitoring and modelling peatland condition and their contributions to greenhouse gas budgets was a subject in a recent conference in Thurso.

Hosted on Acast.
