Some people will call that selfish, and others understand. That is what we are talking about- taking the time you need to get good. Sometimes we worry ourselves so much and live in our own head that we have more of a fight in our head than what we ever would in real life. So when we continue to allow our brains to fight, if and when we get to the point of apology, we have just a grand idea on what its supposed to be like that it never lives up to what we hope. We are missing a piece because it never feels like it fulfills the whole hole that fight has created. So take a listen and see if what we think rings true to how you feel about apologies. Friendship is Weird- Ep 19 S1

There are three things I believe to be true in every person's life: death, taxes, and weird friendships. Okay, so maybe that is not for everyone, but for myself, one thing I have been fascinated about is how we make friends throughout our lives. As kids, we tend to not worry about much of anything and it is a simple as "you look like fun. Let's be friends." As an adult, I don't know if that is entirely true. While I have made friends based on that principle alone, there is a lot more involved to become good friends and best friends. Take a listen as we talk about circles of influence, finding your weird, and how an introvert might need friends like you! And if you are one of my friends, know that I am thankful for each and every one of you, even if I don't say it because- you put up with a lot of weird!

Not very often do I get a chance to sit down and talk one on one with a cop. I had the pleasure of speaking with Officer Rob (thanks Whit) from the Plainfield Police Department about his experience as a K9 handler/dog lover and learn more about his K9 partner, Jocko. What I thought was just going to be a conversation solely about Belgian Malinois, turned into discovering a passion project from Officer Rob for rescue dogs and having a brighter future.
