The Top Year crew is back after a brief Christmas break to give you a comprehensive and exhaustive review of the year that was 2023.

There was a 1kg bag of corn present for the recording of this podcast. Now that I think about it, I actually don't know why it was there if I'm completely honest. I don't think any of us knew. All I do know for sure is that it cast an unshakable aura over the room; an inescapable feeling that something terrible was going to happen very soon, and there was nothing that we could do to stop it. Nobody new what it would be, and nobody knew when. What you might mistake in our voices this week as an unquenchable thirst for historical accuracy and detail is actually deep rotting fear of the truth gnawing at our very souls - the truth that, somehow, we were next.
