Sadly, on 17th of November 2024, we all received news that Howard Hughes, the presenter of The Unexplained with Howard Hughes, had passed away one week prior.

There have been hundreds of tributes to the man, who, through his work on radio, tv, and podcast, many came to respect, enjoy, and in a strange way, become friends with.

Such an incredible talent, and an incredible person.

Thanks for everything.

Box Hill in Surrey, just to the south west of London in England, is in an area of outstanding natural beauty known as the Surrey Hills.

It forms part of the Mole Gap to Reigate Escarpment Site of Special Scientific Interest.  

It has a viewpoint from where you can see over to Dorking, Brockham and far beyond.

World UFO Day is celebrated on both 24th June and the 2nd July.  And this year is a special one.

It is special because it is 75 years since Kenneth Arnold's sighting of strange objects in the sky gained mass media coverage, and it is also the 75th anniversary of the big one, the Roswell UFO crash.

On 24th June and 2nd July we will be celebrating World UFO Day.  Yes it falls on two days.

The 24th June is the anniversary of Kenneth Arnold's widely reported UFO sighting which basically started UFOlogy, and the 2nd July is the anniversary of the big one, Roswell.  
Both occurred 75 years ago in 1947.

Everyone, including us, will be talking about the big UFO incidents that happened on those dates and after.

The Todmorden UFO Incidents.

Todmorden, is a small market town in the north of England.

However, it was to be shaken in 1980 when a man seemed to appear out of nowhere, dead, on top of a coal pile in the town.

Things started to get much weirder when the investigating officer stumbled upon a UFO, and became what many seem to think as Britain's first alien abductee.

On 1st December 1948 at 06:30am, a man was seen lying seemingly relaxed on Somerton Park Beach near Adelaide, in South Australia.

Upon closer inspection, he was found to be dead.

This episode is about the strange Bigfoot like creature seen mostly in the Eastern USA, known as the Wood Booger or Woodbooger.

An animal similar in appearance to the more well known Big Foot/Sasquatch, what exactly is the Woodbooger?

The Wood Booger is a type of Bigfoot or Hairy Humanoid that lives in the mid Appalachian Mountains, in the east USA. 
The name ”Wood Booger” was given to the creature because it was often rumored to carry off young children like the boogy man. 
This cryptid was featured in the Animal Planet TV show Finding Bigfoot. 
There have been a particularly large amount of sightings outside the town of Saltville, Virginia.
