When is it gonna end, Round 2 recap and history is made

On this week's episode, Bailey and Sam make history by there first recording while a footy game is happening in the background in front of them between West Coast and North Melbourne. We begin by Sam's rant over Essendon ruin his Sunday and overall weekend once again and what does need to be done at Essendon to turn this around, it seems as if nothing will.

We go over the state of the currant pace of the game and what it's doing for injuries occurring and not much can be done about it when the season is already underway and there isn't time to fix it in training.

Finally after spending the dosh St Kilda pick up there first win of the year but lightning did strick first before any action could be underway.

Forfeits, Round 1 Preview and the Spotlight is bright

On this weeks episode Bailey and Sam discuss the events occurred throughout the last week with opening round fallout and how we can rethink it, the injuries and suspensions to impact the start of the season for clubs as well as implementing forfeits to undertaking upon the failure of certain results, Yes taking it up a notch.

Other then all of that we are moving forward to Round 1. How will Carlton respond to their impending downfall against the rejuvenated Richmond side that beat them in this fixture 12 months ago or will Carlton rise up again. The spotlight is indeed on the rivals with the Bombers and the Hawks taking shape, How will Essendon former captain now villian Zach Merrett respond we shall wait and see the welcome. Lets just say Sam said it's been a horrible off season and he even needed to switch off from footy news as well as hearing his thoughts on the season ahead for the bombers In other rivalries the Dogs and the Giants meet again when it was revealed that the skippers in Bontempelli and Greene don't get along how will they approach one another?

Bailey gives his take on Collingwood's match up with the crows in what should be a good matchup for both teams, Adelaide have a point to prove after a straight sets exit. Can the Pies go 2-0 or will the crows cause a boilover?

Off season feels, Draft preview and what's up with these rule changes

On this off season edition of the unofficial insiders, Sam and Bailey run back straight to the mics as honestly there has been a big void over the last month that had consumed our life's since March of this year, We already can't wait for next year.

The boys discuss what there is to come from this years draft and with the game moving ever so fast we discuss how the evolution of the draft will look like in the years to come from the unpredictability of picks, compromisations, what clubs are looking for in positioning and attributes and the missing pieces to the puzzle to fast track rebuilds.

We also talk about our respective clubs in Collingwood and Essendon for what they need and talk the missed opportunities across to competition.

In other news the 2026 fixture the AFL want a blockbuster post the Grand prix leading into the Labour day public holiday and the new rules implemented to cut out game time.

Trade period is over, 11th Hour deals done as per usual, Zach Merrett remains at Essendon and what a fiasco

On this final episode of 2025 Bailey and Sam recap all the fallout from the trade period shortly after the gates have shut of negotiations, big deals, players left in the dark over their futures and look at some burning questions of the trade period that has gone.

Petracca, Curnow, Steele, all the big names were thrown to the table some of them ended with per elation however there was some fall outs and deals that fell through with failed negotiations and no budges over holding firm, No hold backs and double downs to say the least with Zach Merrett

Sam gives his take on Essendon's handling of Merrett and Bailey goes in on Jack Buller and Collingwood non pursuit of acquisitions.

We end off with the winners and losers, chatting loyalty, why the trade period is long? being aggressive and the game is becoming a business. Is this trade period a sign of things to come where we see big names turn there heads.

Brisbane are Back to Back is this a dynasty?, Medals, Trade Period preview and the factors

Grand final preview and somethings just don't go your way

On this weeks episode Not alot didn't go right on a technical front for us but didn't stop us it seemed.

We briefly review the prelims and hand out the reports over Hawthorn and Collingwood and what they can do going into 2026 and moving forward, We believe Hawthorn are entering there window of premiership contention and how they got there drafting and recruitment spot on to be followed by other clubs. (Ok but no copy cats please) Do Collingwood remain in contention with there aging list and there's some unknowns surrounding that too.

We then review the brownlow medal as much to Baileys disgust of Nick Daicos missing out once again and we congratulate Matt Rowell our friend on a great season and earned the award convincingly from the start and then the moment we've craved the most previewing the big game on Saturday and looking back at past grand finals.

On this week with starting from the top and going all the way back to Thursday reviewing the game that was where Geelong took win leaving the Bulldogs with questions over there flag contention worthiness, it was followed with a Dreamtime game that felt like you were watching 2 teams in a completely different league and it begged the question whether if the evanish is widening in the competition.

Are Hawthorn's confidence shotting them in the foot and will they turn it around against Baileys Pies who have got the best depth in the comp according to Sam and also what's up with those Blues after being swamped by the orange tsunami.

New segment activated and big start to it, Indigenous round and the banana skins are on the floor for some teams

On this weeks episode we begin with the usual chit chat which lead into some of our favorite indigenous players in honor of indigenous round. We continued with the weekly review of all games in quite some depth we are nearly at the halfway mark of the home and away season which is crazy.

We also replace the Rant segment with a new name for the segment which you need to listen to hear it and Sam nearly didn't say it as well as a proposal to eliminate bye rounds and Bailey admits just like Dimma did that he hates Marvel Stadium, This will come back to bite him if the Pies find a way to lose on the weekend.

We end off with Round 11 predictions with some interesting games ahead that can go either way.
