This is the very first episode of The Voice for Voice. To kick off the podcast, Geraint John discusses his views on Amazon’s $3.5 million chatbot prize and Google Duplex’s infamous ‘restaurant call’ at Google’s keynote speech.

We’ll also be testing a new skill on the Amazon Alexa store called ‘The Fake News Game’. In this game, Alexa reads out a news story and the players have to guess whether it’s true, or just FAKE NEWS…a vital skill nowadays.

To cap it off, we’ll be conducting our first head-to-head Voice platform test; Amazon Alexa vs Apple’s Siri. We’ll be asking both devices three questions. Whichever device gives the most satisfactory answers wins.
