Limerick Triathlon Club is the longest-running triathlon club in Ireland. Founded in 1984 the club has something for everyone; racers, rookies, juniors, seniors, and veterans. The first event was held back in 1985 in St. Enda’s Sports Complex in Limerick, followed that summer by the first Kilkee “Hell of the West” Triathlon. The IIHA is the official governing body of ice hockey in Ireland. They have had international recognition since 1996 and have played games in Europe, the US, Canada and South Korea to name but a few.

They are currently raising funds towards the building of a permanent ice rink in the Republic of Ireland.

At the moment there are no permanent facilities compared to two in Northern Ireland and forty in the UK.
