He's been on skis since he could walk and now, 20 years on, he's going to his first Olympics.

Alpine skiing - that's the downhill one - is his sport and he'll be competing with the best in a couple of events.

After a couple of years at the GWS, he's now playing for the Bombers and, for that matter, playing very well.

The boy from Bendigo's already a gun. Injuries - which may or may not include sore feet - have delayed it a bit, but in 2022, he's ready to metaphorically explode.

Don't be surprised if it's a big season from Jye and Essendon. Whether or not you're a fan of the Dons, you'll be a fan of Jye's once you've tuned in.

Joey Gibbs is an Australian footballer with an awesome tale to tell. His first senior season saw him wheelchair-bound and, just months later, making his debut as the youngest-ever player in an A-League Grand Final.

Joey's journey has since then led him to a slightly shady Belgian club, more national glory, Hong Kong's now-defunct Tai Po FC and, of course, Iceland.

What's life like in a wheelchair? What's life like as an A-League Championship-winning 18-year-old? And just how good have you gotta be to become one of the best goalscorers in Iceland?
