On the 26th of January 2023, May Thompson and Maira Pollard met to watch the finale of Netflix's "The Circle US" season 4. The next day they met to discuss the events of the night before and decided to record it for the podcast. Not wanting to do it alone they attempted to call podcast veterans Austin Hampshire and Harri Dobbs. The episode wasn't listenable. This is the conversation they had.
