This week we decided to finally cover a movie both of our dads loved, apparently, Better Off Dead. It’s the 80’s comedy about a broken-hearted teenager who cant stop trying to kill himself and only feels better after winning a ski competition and getting a different girlfriend. It’s a tale as old as time, and one anyone as dope at skiing as me (Cian) can relate to.

Great episode, lot’s of suicide talk (so trigger warning if you’re a pimp on the edge), but also this movies a comedy so it’s still a funny episode thank god.

edward scissorhands is a movie about suburban people and how the in group treats outsiders, our parents learned nothing from it and should re watch this one.

this week we talk about westworld, a movie about capitalism, robots, going on vacation, robots malfunctioning, and then a guy being chased unnecessarily for like three days. everyone says yul brinner is badass in this but youre literally wrong we could b**t him up easy tag team or solo. this movie taught our parents that stuff like Disneyland and going camping has dire implications which was already taught by the amount of dads overheard screaming on everyones first time doing that.

we got a hot one this week folks, we watch season of the witch, a movie about a woman who decides she doesn't want to live a boring suburban life anymore, so she learns magic and shoots her husband with a gun. don't worry about what she uses the magic for.

we talk about what your parents learned from the movie and do some soon to be considered legendary bits like the Witch Mafia and Spellbinder open mics. its all around solid in my opinion give us five stars please.

this movie, like all other movies, is an allegory for a lot of things. cian even compares it to Crime and Punishment at one point but not in the sense that it's good, in a different sense. this thing is written and filmed weird, and also the spelling of the directors last name, Romero, is weird to me some how.

we ended weird that's clans fault. shout out to COMEDY HERE OFTEN? we love you and also all the other Best Friends Of The Show.

In honor of the upcoming apocalypse, this week we watched Dawn of the Dead, George A. Romero's sequel to his original Night of the Living Dead and hot damn is this movie ever topical.

It's all about a group of survivors who take refuge from the zombie apocalypse in the one building that's safe and still accessible during a worldwide plague - the local mall.

That's right baby, this movie predicted shopping the apocalypse away and we are all forever in it's debt.

class of 1984 is a movie set in a dystopian punk rock future and it was filmed in 1982, so you can see why we like it.

this movie is about being a teacher, but not just a regular teacher, this is about being the cool teacher. the kind of teacher who gets it, it being the gun that you have in your briefcase. we follow two teachers as they descend into madness because of a bunch of students being so punk rock that they kill and skin a bunch of rabbits, which is what I did after I heard Savage Mode 2.

this is honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen, its a story of triumph and failure, love and loss, and murdering your 17 year old enemies.

is Andy Norris justified? misunderstood? was it taken out of context when he killed those kids? all that and more this week, let The Misters guide you through a journey like no other. press play and we'll see you in class. the class of nineteen eighty four baby.

welcome to the show! this week we cover the cult classic film Kickboxer, I don't actually know if its a cult classic but what I do know is that its a movie about having back muscles and being so American that nobody can beat you in a fight.

Jean-Claude Van Damme plays Kurt, the brother of a world champion kickboxer who gets smoked in Thailand due to his American Overconfidence (trade mark logo), and after witnessing this, Kurt embarks on the journey of a lifetime to take revenge on the man who wronged his brother. its like Star Wars but with no incest.

is this movie good? is it better with the arabic subtitles that were on the YouTube version we watched? is it the reason your dad has road rage? all that and more will be decided by The Misters this week!
