Copperhead Dad-Episode 63

This week I bring to you the one and only, never to be duplicated, Josh Williams from the rad podcasts "Welldagum Podcast" and "Podbless". The first thing you'r'e going to notice is that Josh's audio quality is a bit... off. Don't worry! He fixed that as soon as the recording ended, so he will sound perfecty fine if you check out his show. They do live shows on Facebook as well as dropping that baby on the podcast apps. It's also family-friendly. Unlike this one.

In this episode, the audio did not improve, but the content hits hard enough that you soon look past it. Or at least that's what I'm telling you will happen. If you believe me strongly enough, that will make it true.

Honestly though, Josh was candid and honest about finding true love, being a stay-at-home dad, enduring a miscarriage, and transitioning from tough guy ex-coal miner mindset into loving and caring 'dad' mode.

It's a pretty good episode if I do say so myself. Course I made it, so I would say that. Don't (definitely DO) take my word for it though. Give it a try four or five times and see what you think.

Today I talk to Eddie Reyes. This awesome dad is my first ever Mexican on the show. Kinda special to me as I'm a big fan of Mexican History and actually speak Spanish. Luckily, this episode was in English because my Spanish is really bad and I doubt Eddie would have liked translating my Spanglish into something understandable.

Things get kinda heavy in this episode as we talk about dealing with a miscarriage and the effect that can have on your mental health. We don't stay down too long though, and end with a hilarious joke that was probably not recycled from another episode. (OK it definitely was, but who listens to every episode?)

You'll be hard-pressed to hear Joe talk about his time in the sandbox and not want to go buy his book.

Welcome to one of the only podcasts geared toward fathers! Join us in our early efforts leading up to our first real episode. In our first attempt we discuss being happy with the gender of the baby and branch off a bit into dealing with low self-esteem. We were still finding our podcasting legs with these first four bonus episodes. The audio, in particualr, was pretty terrible until you get to our first official episode.
